We ate here yesterday and were pleasantly surprised that as a chain pub it was light and airy inside. The staff were very attentive and helpful which made us feel welcome. The food we had was good and was also served quite quickly. We enjoyed it so much we even had desert which was equally good. I'd definitely go back... More

Having finished the day at Darley Moor race track, this was the closest pub so we popped straight in. The pub was very busy and we were informed that there was a 30 minute wait for a seat. We sat at the bar and eventually, we were shown to a table. Next to us was a very large table of... More

Thank you for your feedback. I apologise that your visit was not a positive one. Sometimes people are enjoying themselves that much they do not take others into consideration. What we could of done is moved you and your party to a different table, so I apologies that this did not happen. I do think this is an isolated incident.... More

We stopped here following a very full-on Saturday at Alton Towers amusement park. We queued longer to get out of the car park than it took us to travel to the restaurant, which was about 20 minutes away from the Alton Towers and very easy to find, directly off the main road (close to a large retail park). The staff... More

Although this is not a pub for a romantic meal or something extra special, it is however a Country Pub near the cetre of town in Ashbourne in the Peak District. I believe it is the best place to eat, the pub is very welcoming, the food is excellent for a chain pub and reasonably priced. I used to find... More

Thank you for your comments. Our prices are very competitive within Ashbourne. Our Marstons Pedigree is actually the cheapest in the Area so I've been informed. Obviously, we have a range of different products to suit all price ranges depending on your preferences. Thank you again and we will continue to monitor our prices. More

Visited here whilst staying one night at the travelodge next door. So glad we chose to eat on its doorstep. Food was really lovely, nothing outstanding, just good hearty grub. The restaurant itself looked fine, nothing special or fancy. However, the service was exceptional. Friendly, attentive and not to overbearing. The waitress was happy to rescue me from a daddy...
