I used to live in the area and have been to this place several times the first time we went just after it opened was OK and the food reasonable ever since then its been dreadful. We last went on our latest trip to see the in-laws after my father in law mentioned that it was supposed to have improved... More

The food was a really good price and there was a lot of variety... except for somebody who doesn't eat meat/cheese/eggs/dairy! As a vegan there was only one option for me to eat, every other vegetarian option was... More

Called with the family today, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was very good but a little pricey. There were a good collection of ales and a good visit was had by all.

I'm an avid fan of Marstons......their pubs generally offer excellent value for money and good standards of food and service. We've visited this pub several times and it has always delivered the goods. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Like much of the cliental we visited The Stepping Stones on our way home from a day at Alton Towers. The location was very accessible, the staff extremely friendly and the menu appeared to have something for all the family (albeit few decent vegetarian offerings). In reality the food was just dreadful. The children's pizzas were doughy and undercooked and... More

We visited The Stepping Stones during our family holiday and found the food to be OK but an hidden cost spoiled the experience. There were two issues that happened. The first was that all chicken options on the menu had run out and that was disappointing. But by far worst was a simple principle that I feel is really wrong.... More
