We ate here for 2 consecutive nights while staying at the nearby Travelodge hotel.our party of 6 were seated both nights without booking.the food is nice and reasonably priced.ordering some dishes from their 2 for £10 menu meant our bill was only £75 and £83

Visited on a very busy day in the main holiday season, and the restaurant was at full stretch, but food was quickly delivered to our table and the entire experience was a delight with an excellent waitress Phamema -- sorry if that isn't the correct spelling. Helpful suggestions, pleasant comments and all in the rush of the heavy workload.

This Marstons pub is typical of the chain, conveniently located immediately adjacent to the A52 Ashbourne bypass, with plenty of parking, outside seating and a good outside play area. The interior is spacious, and designed in such a way that there are several areas of apparent privacy, but not in any way cluttered. Following a very warm friendly welcome from... More

Friendly welcome and helpful staff , the food was hot and well presented as you would expect in one of these chain restaurants , everything was fairly priced and as we were a group of 11 and all our meals came out together I think they did very well , will go there again always good for a large group

Dined here with two kids Saturday 15th August, Kids meals were fine although they did bring the wrong potato choice out, this was swiftly rectified. I had the pulled pork chilli burger which again tasted good. Onion rings were great, non of this reconstituted muck, proper onions in there. Desserts were also satisfactory - VG mark down to the reasonable... More

We were staying in the Travelodge for 3 nights, so ate here a few times for breakfast & dinner. Good value pub style food, offering rotisserie chicken as a feature. Value for money menu, for both breakfast & dinner. Nice garden and both a small indoor and outdoor play area for little ones. Lovely friendly staff. Would happily eat here... More

As an end to our family break away I decided we would eat here on our last evening. Great food and lovely staff who welcomed us and showed us straight to our table and provided an excellent service all throughout our time there. Great value for money and cater brilliant for children. I wish I went more than once during... More

We saw this pub advertising 2 meals for £10 and thought we'd give it a go. 4 adults had the 2 for £10 and 1 adult had a meal of the main menu. The steak and ale pie was overcooked (2-4-10), the fish was of small proportions (2-4-10) and the two beefburgers were almost identical (one being 2-4-10). As it... More
