We were staying in the travelodge across the road so this was a very convenient place for us to eat in the evening. Unfortunately they do not open up until 12noon so do not serve breakfast. The meals were lovely, large portions and great value for money for two of us with drinks. Food was served very quickly (We ate... More

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Overpriced pub food. Should have realised when the 3 people on the next table downed their drinks and left, leaving 3 just started meals on their plates. We were told there was a waiting time for food of half an hour. We ordered and it arrived in 10 minutes. The chicken roti bbq melt consisted of very cold... More

We ordered our food and waited so long, it was busy so we expected the wait but when the food arrived it was awful!. The fish was mushy and tasteless, the rotisserie chicken was so dry and had very little flavour it was a real disappointment we left most of the meal but nobody even asked if we enjoyed our... More

Called here on the off chance and we found table easily in quiet location. The waiter was very polite and helpful. The food was typical of marstons pub grub.

We often stop at the Stepping Stones for a drink after visiting Alton Towers. We have eaten there a couple of times as well, and the food is reasonable and well priced. It is a Marstons pub, so the beer is good. The menu is the standard Marstons one, with the main items being a rotisserie chicken. I have to... More
