We stopped here following a very full-on Saturday at Alton Towers amusement park. We queued longer to get out of the car park than it took us to travel to the restaurant, which was about 20 minutes away from the Alton Towers and very easy to find, directly off the main road (close to a large retail park). The staff... More

Although this is not a pub for a romantic meal or something extra special, it is however a Country Pub near the cetre of town in Ashbourne in the Peak District. I believe it is the best place to eat, the pub is very welcoming, the food is excellent for a chain pub and reasonably priced. I used to find... More

Visited here whilst staying one night at the travelodge next door. So glad we chose to eat on its doorstep. Food was really lovely, nothing outstanding, just good hearty grub. The restaurant itself looked fine, nothing special or fancy. However, the service was exceptional. Friendly, attentive and not to overbearing. The waitress was happy to rescue me from a daddy... We ( 2 adults 1 child) went in for an evening meal about 8pm. Although the menu and promotional material brands the place as a rotisserie restaurant we were told they had completely run out of chicken, only had ciabatta roles if we wanted burgers and several other menu choices were unavailable. This was on a Monday evening! The food... More

Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that you were not able to order what you would have liked. Unfortunately there was a problem with our food order on the Monday morning, and as a result we ran out of quite a few items. We did explain this to all guests when they entered, so as not to...
