Lovely

The Okeover Arms has always seemed to be very busy whenever I've been before. They serve really good food at reasonable prices. Makes for a lovely evening out :)

We have had lunch now at the Okeover Arms a couple of times and were not disappointed on either occasion. The food is superb - the staff friendly and you certainly don't leave hungry!!!! A good selection of local beers and a wood burning stove keeps the place warm and cosy. We shall be back

Stopped here for a late lunch after walking on the Tissington Trail today Saturday 09/01/2016. The bar and restaurant were fairly busy but tables were available. We were met by friendly and efficient staff who were welcoming and attentive. We ordered a first course of celery/stilton soup which was hot, tasty and obviously not out of a tin. My wife... More

Visited here with family. Food was good but the service was not so good. When we arrived shown to a table that was very cramped, so complained and got moved. As my family was about to sit down told we only had a certain time to eat.

Called in on the off chance hoping to grad a light lunch.. The staff were extremely pleasant. The light bites menu was the best we have come across for a long time. I had the light bite fish and chips and my husband had the gammon .....both were plenty and outstanding quality. Well done the The Oakover.

Another place I had not been for a long time due to the traumatic meal there the last time. Now under new management the tables have been turned, from cold and uninviting to being warm and invigorating. Great service at the bar with a wide selection of ales, to great service with the food. The meals we had were well... More

We enjoyed our time at this venue. The staff were very accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals - very good steak. Superb desserts. Good ales.

I opted for this pub rather than a Travel Lodge after eading reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. My Room (3) had a lovely view overlooking the river and hills in the distance. The room was quiet (apart from the noisy floorboards but hey hoo) The room was well laid out with a new shower suite and comfortable bed.... More

Very friendly helpful staff. Good selection of beers and the reasonably priced evening meal was really good, with freshly cooked vegetables. We stayed for three nights B & B. Nice room overlooking the fields. The cooked breakfast was generous, although a little greasy for us. My wife opted for scrambled egg on the third morning and that was very nicely... More

We were staying in the area and went out for a ride and stopped off at The Ok over Arms for a drink. A lovely pleasant atmosphere.Friendly service. If we are in the area again we will be back for another visit.
