Had the most comfortable stay, was made to feel at home. The rooms are very comfortable, newly refurbished with ensuite bathrooms. Breakfast was incredible! Try the black pudding. Absolutely amazing!

We called in this pub halfway round our walk to have some refreshments and lunch, the beer and the food were excellent especially the fish and chips (Friday deal). Would recommend.

Was worried about the okeover arms as externally, it does not look that inviting however, a totally different story on entering! Staff are friendly, bar and resturant area are well done, would be nice for there to be a real log burner giving off heat though. Food was absolutely lovely, large portions making it excellent value for money. Extensive menu,... More

This is not a gastropub and that's a compliment. Went at 2.30 on a cold bright Sunday with our 3 year old vegetarian granddaughter. Choice of beef or pork on the carvery and a free small plate of vegetables, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding for the little one. Vegetarian gravy? No problem. What a refreshing change! We then shared one home... More

Went for lunch today - what a nice experience. After a fab walk and a bit chilled, the bar was lovely and welcoming with a roaring fire. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the bar which was very nice and didn't detract from the ambience of the place. The food was fabulous and really well presented and portions are not... More
