Lacklustre food, matched only by the staff. A disappointing evening, not good value for money, have been before some years ago, but won't go again. Very poor. The only good news is that there's a new Indian restaurant opening soon, just down the road, so that might help them to remember why they're there. Us!

Despite the music, the place was lovely & the food great. It appeared to be expensive but the quality of the food was worth every penny. The onion bhaji's were to die for and the naan bread second to none. We had the chicken kashmiri & chicken tikka dansak both of which had plenty of chicken - as you would... More

A friend recommeded this place while I was in Asbourne and was really impressed with the food. The lamb koria that i had was probably one of the best curries I have ever tasted. I found the staff to be friendly and the atmosphere to be quite calming. Will be going back the next time that I am in Ashbourne.

Was in town for a business trip, and fancied a curry. A local advised me to try this place. I guess he didn't like me. Venue: Clean, minimalist, ok on first glance Atmosphere: Odd. Library like. Staff: Bored, grumpy, with a face like a dropped naan bread. Starter: Samosa from Aldi, salad from Lidl. Main: Lamb last attached to a... More

If you want average food at city prices then this is the place to visit. The food was not cold but then it was not hot, it was bland. The staff were intent on pushing for us to order more drinks, the price is the reason why. If you need a curry and that is the only place open then... More

The drinks menu is overpriced, bearing in mind this is not a major city but a small town. This was our 2nd visit the first was disappointing due to poor flavours and expensive overall cost. Both my partner and I have travelled and eaten curry all over the world and wanted to give it a 2nd try, we we really... More

We didn't even stay for the meal, so to be fair we couldn't honestly rate the food, but for the prices they were charging, gordon ramsey should have been in the kitchen. It was freezing cold, and after 5 minutes of asking if they were going to switch the heating on, we made our apologies and left, after reading the... More
