It's nice food, only ever had takeaway, and as we only live a few doors down often bring it to our door. We do like the special treatment. Never sat inside but people I know have eaten there and say the deco is nice and staff mostly friendly.

The restaurant is clean & the staff are very polite, there seems to be an high turnover of staff has there are different waiters each time we go. The place was quite busy has well,... More

been here a few times and the staff are attentive and the food is good and plentiful, prices also good. it's a nice place to go but always seems quite empty for some reason. the restaurant has nice decor but i wouldn't say this is the place to go if you want a romantic night

We went here on a Saturday night and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Had the usual starters but a main course of salmon lazeez which is the first time for me having a salmon based dish. I can't recommend it enough! The rest of the food was great and we'll certainly come again when visiting Ashbourne!

This has got to be one of the best restaurants that I have been too. I was staying in Matlock and a local recommended Red Chilli. The meat bhuna had a unique taste to it and the porota was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, which alot of restaurants fail to achieve. The staff were friendly and... More

Lacklustre food, matched only by the staff. A disappointing evening, not good value for money, have been before some years ago, but won't go again. Very poor. The only good news is that there's a new Indian restaurant opening soon, just down the road, so that might help them to remember why they're there. Us!

Despite the music, the place was lovely & the food great. It appeared to be expensive but the quality of the food was worth every penny. The onion bhaji's were to die for and the naan bread second to none. We had the chicken kashmiri & chicken tikka dansak both of which had plenty of chicken - as you would... More

A friend recommeded this place while I was in Asbourne and was really impressed with the food. The lamb koria that i had was probably one of the best curries I have ever tasted. I found the staff to be friendly and the atmosphere to be quite calming. Will be going back the next time that I am in Ashbourne.
