This a Whitehaven standards, Covent Garden prices restaurant. Food came late, atmosphere not great because of the settings that is too bright. Steak was not fresh but frozen. You get the idea of going to a nice restaurant but food is very poor, atmosphere not so good and staff friendly but really slow. Good selection of wines red and white.

Went for a family dinner midweek - arriving at 6pm we were the only customers. Not a good start. Order placed fairly quickly - steaks and kebabs, but still took a long time to arrive. The plates were cold, steaks overcooked and all the meat was barely warm. They even got the wrong chips with the meals as some of... More

We went for a meal as friends on a Saturday night and the experience was altogether awful. The food is overpriced and not freshly cooked. The worst part of all was that for £10 one of us was given a pizza which was clearly a cheap supermarket frozen one which they had even managed to overcook. After sending it back... More

I was craving pizza for dinner one evening in Whitehaven, and the owner of my hotel suggested caspian. The decor is attractive in a comfortable setting, and the pizza was good (although a choice of crusts would have been nice). The service, however, was uninspired. I was greeted when I arrived and my order taken, but after that was inattentive.... More

Use caspian a lot of the time and always really pleased. Pizzas are great and the Caspa chicken is beautiful and a real plate full. Garlic dip is lovely and would highly recommend Caspian to all.

As soon as we arrived could feel the welcoming atmosphere, member of staff took us to our table, perfect service and timing, food is worth of every single penny. Deffinetly will visit again and hardly recommended

We entered the venue and were given a table straight away. The table was sticky although clean looking. We ordered drinks, all of which we asked for pints of pop them given large tumblers (definitely not pints). After ten minutes our order was taken. 45 minutes later we received our for, although hot the portion sizes were unsatisfactory and one... More

We arrived and ordered our food which took a good 40/50 minutes arrive which was a conscience as we were on our lunch break and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. When the food eventually arrived we were all disappointed with the portion sized we received. Although it was a lunch time menu (therefore a little cheaper) myself and friends where... More

Have been here a few times as it's handy to where I live. The food is generally very nice and if you go through the day when offers are on then good value. However you can wait a long time for food even though it can appear quiet, Pepsi is awful and tasteless and staff appear miserable. I have also... More
