Lost my brother in may and have not been there since but this is a lovely place. Had lunch with my family and wife and loved it nice and peaceful even if the rain was hammering down. Food was great and service very good nice to see some of the staff from the hospice there as well.

Went last week with my Mother and had a lovely welcome from volunteers as a returning customer. I have always found the volunteers lovely, accommodating and very proficient. The food is very well presented so you can't wait to taste it. We have tried different dishes and there is a specials board every day which we have always really enjoyed... More

It is lovely how it is ran by friendly volunteers. Knowing your money is going to a good cause is even better. The food is incredibly tasty and fresh. I would definitely go again!

First visit to this tranquil place, with a poorly Mum upstairs we couldn't devote time to walking into Ulverston for food. No need, The Orangery does good food, reasonably priced, excellent tea and coffee and glorious cakes. Staffed by volunteers and patronised by a varied clientele, we were jojned by a big gang of lady hikers who also seemed to... More

Call in for lunch and had scampi and chips in a basket. Cooked to perfection and served by the enthusiastic volunteers. The sticky toffee pudding we had for afters succeeded in being flavoursome without being too sweet.

Nice surroundings, inside and outside seating. Staff are all volunteers and it is nice to support the local hospice. There is also a nice gift shop with great cards and gift ideas.
