First visit here and we will not be returning, maybe it was just a bad day for them but first impressions do count. We went for lunch -4 of us altogether, our friends picked baguette style sandwich which looked good and chips between them, i had fishcake with a poached egg which was good, but my... read more

Called in on the way home from a weekend away. Staff nice & welcoming. Food ok, nothing special, but all our meals were perfectly ok. Kid's meals are of a good standard. Reasonably priced.

Went for a veins birthday meal after staying at a nearby caravan site. The atmosphere was very welcoming and very cosy. The service was really friendly and appreciated. The food is highly recommendable will definitely be returning. Recommend the steak and ale pie. Mmmmmmm

stopped here on the way home for a bite to eat, menu limited and poor quality of food. Keep driving and find somewhere nice to eat

whilst staying in the area for a weekend break, we popped into the Kings Arms for Sunday lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us the menu and pointed out the specials. The food was good and value for money, we were even able to buy free range eggs on the way out.

Kings Arms is a long established pub, in close proximity to our holiday home, serving excellent home cooked meals. We have visited several times each year and have always been delighted with the choice and reasonable cost of the meals which are all freshly cooked by their own chef. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and provide a... More

Bangers and mash with onion gravy very tasty and huge sausage! Wife had fish and chips which she really enjoyed. Staff are excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Good food, excellent service, and family-run feel to the place. Excellent value for money and a great location on the A6, two miles south of Milnethorpe.

We had met up with 2 special friends to celebrate a birthday. They live only a few miles away, the other side of Milnthorpe, and when we said we'd like to treat them to a meal they suggested the King's Arms. We had booked a table for 6pm. We received a warm welcome and were taken to our table immediately.... More

We visited the Kings Arms on Thursday night. It was very quiet in there with only a few people eating. We used to visit often but hadn't been for a while so thought we would try to see how the food was. I am vegetarian and there were only a few options available so I opted for the cheese and... More

Whilst I can only apologise for this, I have to defend the chef in saying that because all out pies are homemade and fresh, we put them in any dish that is available, and in this instance it has been confused with the steak and ale pies. With our pastry cut to size to cover the entire dish, I can... More
