We had a brilliant meal here, with a mixture of traditional pub grub and Italian dishes there's something for everyone. With a wide range of real ales and fantastic friendly service this is a place that I can definitely recommend.

Altho we hadn't planned to eat in this busy family pub we popped in a few times for a drink. Each time we were given a friendly welcome and a comfy seat by the fire even tho they were extremely busy. After going to L'Enclume for lunch we were a little peckish in the evening and asked to see the... More

Popped in here for a drink and ended up having a bowel of leek and potato soup which was very tasty. We only visited this place in the daytime but it seemed nice enough with a nice roaring fire and plesant staff.

An excellent meal with great service. Nice welcoming staff and great atmosphere. We visited twice, once for Sunday roast and evening dinner... Both really good food. Also liked the sampler to try the ales.. Helped me find the pint which I most enjoyed

We ate here last minute on a Saturday. It was busy but managed to get a small table. The waiter was very friendly and professional. He recommended drinks and the specials in such a way that it reminded me of the amazing service in a certain Michelin starred restaurant nearby..! Very impressive for what you'd normally expect in a pub.... More

I've been here twice now and both times were as good as each other! The customer service is brilliant, the lasagne is to die for and the atmosphere is lovely. Keep up the good work, I will definitely be returning soon!
