Exquisite meal; presentation absolutely first class; staff could not have been more attentive. What a find. For the quality and standard of the food the price was amazing. Will definitely be back the next time we are in the Manchester area. You would be mad not to fraternise this restaurant if you are fussy about food as we are.

This must be one of the best value restaurants, first class food, service and atmosphere. Amazing! Well worth a visit when in the area.

Booked in for the lunch time menu on a Saturday. Chose from the fixed price, 3 course menu and was very impressed with the quality of the dishes. Particular favourite was the soft shell crab with a fabulous crab cake....delicious. The meal was reasonably priced, the service impeccable, and the restaurant really nicely decorated. Overall, a great experience and would... More

As usual we had a Delicious dinner served but very good staff. It's one of my favourite local restaurants with very reasonable mid week offers

I visited Bacchus 2 weeks ago with my wife and the whole experience was excellent. The staff were very welcoming, the decor and layout is very nice. The restaurant could easily squeeze in more tables but they have spaced them out to give ample room and privacy. Marlborough toast on the table on arrival and finishing touches on the table... More

Sunday lunch two weeks ago with friends - excellent food, service and atmosphere will definitely go again. Would love to go in the evening for the tasting menu.

Another fabulous visit. The food was gorgeous and reached the same high standard I received on my last visit. The atmosphere in Bacchus is so relaxing and you are always so well looked after. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Called to book table at 39 Steps in Styal but was diverted through to sister restaurant Bacchus in Prestbury. This was due to annual holiday closure in Styal. For dinner at Bacchus we choose to mix and match from prix fixe and à la carte menus. Enjoyed a 'mini assiette de fruits de mer', a (properly cooked) saignant steak with... More

We ate there last Sunday - it was somewhat disappointing. My soup was described as leek , spring onion and potato. It was not unpleasant but tasted very little of the first two ingredients. My second course was described as chicken with ratatouille of vegetables. The chicken was alright but the ratatouille appeared simply to be a smear of tomato... More

Booked this restaurant as we were staying nearby. Great service and reasonable prices for the set menu, good wine list, again reasonably priced. Food was delicious, thoughtful and well presented- as noted, service was friendly and efficient. Huge varied cheese plate - which is often a disappointment.
