Excellent atmosphere and service, staff were really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food and drinks were great, lovely decor throughout and views of the canal, overall this pub is really on point. Well worth a visit.

We were a large party of six adults and six children. We had been on a boat trip down the road and called in here afterwards. Thinking we were a large party wasn't sure if they could accommodate us. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the children were looked after and occupied, and a friendly and helpful attitude was felt... More

Landlord does not like children being in the pub and does not hide this well. Nice pub except for landlords attitude!!

However, as Licencees, we are REQUIRED by law to provide as safe an environment as possible for all customers - young and old. We, therefore, were obliged to request that the excited, screaming children, who were running... More

Went with a friend before starting a canal boat holiday. The meal we had was very good. The two young waitresses were attentive and friendly.
