Perfect location for barge holiday folk and just next to a caravan/camping park. Understandably extremely busy, staff running everywhere but still good service. Main courses (roasts) were delicious and huge.

We stopped off at Wrenbury on our way down the Welsh Canal. The Cotton Arms is a clean country pub serving good food. If there was a down side, if you're not purchasing food you can not buy your drinks on a credit card. Albeit a bit of a pain as you now have to walk to the shop (... More

Speaking as we found the Cotton Arms. The food was excellent and fantastic value for money! Camping site basic by today's standards but at group rally rates, we thought it was fabulous value and will certainly come again! Charlie, Sylvia & Benji

Ok if you need pristine & modern dont go here. But if you dont mind out of date decor (im refering to the toilets). Then go. We dont camp but we do visit. We have spent many a happy hour here wiling away the hours when the weathers been bad. We have had food on at least four seperate occassions... More

Recent group camping trip Expensive and very poor facilities Very rude managers who were unhelpful and everything was too much trouble The disabled shower was not only unsafe and inaccessible but tokens had to be bought and no information offered. Poorly organised Such a shame as it's a lovely venue

This was our second visit to the Cotton Arms, both times from our boat. It's a very traditional pub, old fashioned and not tarted up inside. The decor is basic and the ketchup comes in the bottle. Lots of people bring their dogs inside so if that bothers you you'll hate it. The food is fantastic, very well cooked, tasty,... More

If you want basic facilities i.e. WATER and TOILET do not stay at Cotton Arms, Wrenbury - camped here in July 2014, could not get any water from either of the stand pipes on the field. Only one gents toilet was available for most of the weekend -to my estimation there were over one hundred units camping on this particular... More

Arrived 8.15pm on Monday 28th July after mooring our canal boat about a mile away. They claim "food all day". Place was only moderately busy - our party of nine had a choice of several tables to sit at. However, as we approached the bar we were told that "sorry, but the chef has said he's not doing any more... More

We have just returned from one of the most uncomfortable weekends we have experienced in our caravan. We were invited to a Bluegrass Musical Weekend which took part on the "rally field". We had telephoned to book 2 electric hook ups well in advance, and explained that we would be attending the bluegrass event, only to find that the hook... More

An otherwise happy and carefree weekend was spoiled by the abusive manner of the landlady who should reread the dictionary definition of "hospitality". A perfect location for masochists who may enjoy being at the receiving end of unwarranted insults.
