The Coton Arms is a couple of minutes walk from Wrenbury Marina on the Llangollen Canal and has a good honest country pub feel. We visited twice on our canal holiday and on both occasions (the October half term) we found its neighbour, The Dusty Miller, was closed. We received a friendly welcome and noted the water bowl and dog... More

A real decent plateful with 8 different veggies (i'll let you work that out!) and generous portion of turkey. Really good quality and excellently cooked. Service was exceptional - prompt, polite and unintrusive. The entertainment was from... More

Wonderful couple of days in a caravan, excellent breakfast, and two lovely nights with good old fashioned freshly cooked hearty food, and a choice of well kept cask ales. Prices are not dear at all, and all this served by friendly staff while the owner is away. Well done, and thanks from Ian and Tracy, not forgetting Chunks our dog... More

Had a lovely drink at this lively pub, good food and great service. Had a entertaining conversation with a pleasant young man at the bar who was more than happy to serve me. Overall had a great time and will be coming back very soon!

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, hadn't booked a table but no problem getting seated. Didn't have to wait long for food to arrive- though alot of other diners were present. Portion sizes were generous & very filling. Polite & friendly staff & nice, relaxing surroundings. Would definitely come here again for food & coming next year to use the campsite.

Welcoming staff and reasonably priced food in total contrast to the Dusty Miller just down the road.
