We visited the Cotton Arms with friends. On Wednesday's they have a Supper Club. On offer are three choices of starter and main for an unbelievable £6! Yes you did read that correctly. Now you might think that you won't get much for £6 for two courses but you'd be wrong. I had a breakfast salad. This was green salad... More

Very tasty food indeed, great staff. Lovely open fireplace and comfy restaurant and lounge. Separate bar for music and tv keeps the noise down. Great camping and caravanning too.

The Cotton Arms is a country pub, it has open fires and comfy seating , don't expect a palacial interior , but it is not like a lot of eating places Fur coat and no knickers !!!!! The food is delicious and the servings generous with plenty of fresh vegetables. The staff are very friendly and are happy to help... More

We visited with a group of nine for lunch on 28th December as we did last Christmas . We had a wide range of food from the menu some of which was great Fishcakes starter, Camembert starter, steak, fish and chips but some of which was poor, pate, soup, gammon, pork stack and cheese tart. The service was friendly and... More

Came here for Christmas lunch with my family and just want to say thank you for a tremendous meal and a friendly atmosphere. The portions here are always enormous but I thought, given the volume of meals being served they may cut down a little, not a chance. Another ample portion which I barely finished. Every member of waiting staff... More

Good wholesome food at reasonable prices, in a traditional country pub. It's good to visit on cold days too and be met with a lovely cosy fire. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming.

Dining out needn't be expensive,we had a very nice 2 course meal for the low price of £6 per person,on a Saturday night too! This deal is also available on Wed,and lunchtimes.I had spicy meatballs and salad to start,my partner had garlic mushrooms on toast, then chicken cobbler, and faggotts, served with a plate of fresh vegetables including mange tout and cabbage and... Reserved a table by a nice fire. The Beer was good. Meals just ok. However we found the service very poor. My daughter's naan bread was either sea biscuit or could be used as a Frisbee it was so hard. We mentioned it to the waitress - she never came back to us. Mentioned it to one of the management.... We stayed for one night at the campsite in a campervan. I rang ahead as per their website & was advised we could just turn up as there was plenty of space available. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by a member of the bar staff who explained about the site. After settling in we went into the pub for... More
