Breakfast

Eggs benediction delicious with proper ham and perfectly cooked poached eggs on feather light bagel. Sauce spot - on too Tea rather slow to appear as machine hadn't heated but lovely when it arrived. Will definitely continue to go

Took my mum for lunch. Lots of really posh sandwiches, cakes, soups etc. I had crumpet stack filled with nantwich blue cheese, onion relish and loads of tasty salad. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Very personal touch.

If you were setting 'Review Ginger and Pickles' as a writing assignment for a class of primary school kids, they'd have a really hard time of it, because it's almost impossible to do without using a whole slew of Teachers' Least Favourite Adjectives. See, Ginger and Pickles is Really Nice. It's Lovely. It's Cute. The food is Yummy. There's no... More

ate here with a close friend, having chanced on it ...found it to be friendly inviting with excellent choice on its menu...it is already award winning for its afternoon teas.

I went for the prosecco afternoon tea with friends. It's a small cafe which is busy at the weekend. We had to pay a £5 deposit per person to reserve a table. We were sat in the back room next to the door to the toilets. As the toilet is outside it got very cold and there was a draft.... More

Beautiful cakes and more seating than at first appears, however, if you are claustrophobic you may find it just a little on the small side.

I was a little disappointed with my visit today, as the gluten free alternatives were not very good! My friend called a few days earlier to check that there were alternatives for me eat, but when we arrived we were advised that there were no GF cakes. The bread used on the sandwiches wasn't great either. The above said, all... More

My wife had been a few times but I have to admit to being a bit put off by the slightly twee name! However, now I have been a couple of times I have to say it is very good. I have tried the Huntsman's Pie, Staffordshire Oatcakes and the scones all of which pass muster. There is more seating... More

This place feels really good as soon as you go in. It's a bit quirky and very small but the menu is interesting and the food was really good. On the day we went they were let down by poor service, but quite possibly they just had a bad day. There were only two people serving which might have been... More

I was seated and asked if I wanted a menu within two steps of getting threw the door, I declined the menu as I already new what I wanted.... More
