Decent enough

We called for mid-week lunch and unusually it was relatively quiet. It's often very busy and can be hit and miss whether you get a table because it's relatively small and cramped inside. The menu offers a good selection of sandwiches, toasties, etc. and portions are quite large. I always feel... read more

On way home from Chester & so pleased we stopped off here. Food & service excellent. Warm cheese scones with Nantwich blue & salad selection very tasty & not to be missed. Lovely to find somewhere that serves loose tea too. Ambiance reflects the area, very pleasing & will certainly call again.

My Hubby and I popped in quite early on Saturday morning for breakfast. We were served promptly by a lovely smiley lady. Our food was served promptly and was very tasty. I usually don’t eat the sausage on a full English and my Hubby usually benefits form this but these were easily the tastiest sausage I have ever had. The... More

I'm a regular here for the excellent cakes and coffee, occasionally the odd light lunch but after leaving the house in a rush with no breakfast I thought I'd give it a go after my meeting finished. What a treat! A good selection on the menu and the staff were more than willing to mix and match to what I... More

We visited here on New Years Eve for lunch, mainly because we don't know the area, and not much else was open. I can honestly say I am glad we did. We had a breakfast each, with a proper pot of tea, and chunky toast. It was absolutely delicious and just what we needed. It was nice and hot, the... More

If you're in Nantwich, you really need to try this place. In fact, if you're not in Nantwich it's worth making the trip to try. The Veggie Breakfast was great, nice to see some real attention to catering for us, rather than just missing out the meat. Lovely to see local produce, and proper thick toast. Tea is good and... I had the worst experience ever here yesterday. The staff are extremely rude and the food and drinks are over priced. No scones left at 12 in the afternoon some tea room that is. Stale cake and when I asked for more milk it was like I committed a crime, I will not be revisiting!!!

Absolutely wonderful. Tried the soup and ham sandwich and both were yummy. Lovely people as well. My daughter also had the milkshake which is great for kids as it comes with cream and marshmallows

We all had the Cheshire Breakfast, made from local produce, the sausages were particularly good. The service was excellent.

Visited on 10th with friend for breakfast which was delicious. I recommend the breakfast bagel. We were even asked how we would like the eggs cooked and we're able to order sides too! Lovely loose leaf tea too. The home made cakes looked amazing too. Lovely staff.
