We came here for my little brother in laws 21st birthday. We had such a lovely meal. Firatly the staff could not have been more friendly and accomodating. The atmosphere was relaxed and nice. With a very cosey feel. Although it was full when we went we didnt feel at all cramped or overlooked or at all hurried. Now for... More

I have been to the Thatch a few times over the years, every time has been enjoyable. the building itself is very nice, and the food is great. Last visit was New years with a group of friends in 2012, and most of the group is planning to visit again this year. However, it is not the kind of place... More

My favourite place to eat. Lovely food, not too overpriced but not cheap either. Strongly advise the creamy mushroom starter and the steak and ale pie!!

On the occasion of a business trip to the UK in mid-October, we had the opportunity to travel north to the Nantwich/Crewe area, a bit under two hours north of London. While we discovered any number of delightful and historic landmarks, we were struck by the number of locally-run pubs in the area. At last count, we noted 23 –... More

Thatch is a traditional Pub serving traditional meals as well as a more modern menu, I had the goat's cheese Wellington and it was gorgeous. I would love to go back for the Sunday lunch as I've heard it's amazing

Wow! Last went to The Thatch about 18 months ago, it was good then, it's fantastic now. Since our previous visit there have been new tenants who took over several months ago. These people really know what they're doing and how to look after their customers. From the moment we walked in the welcome was very warm and friendly. The... More

From the moment you arrive for a meal you are made to feel welcome, the staff are attentive but not overpowering. The menu is extensive, and the food when it arrives is very good (and hot, which I regard as essential). whenever I have been to the Thatch it's almost like coming home (without me having to cook).

Excellent food, cooked and presented perfectly. Dessert was amazing, possibly the best I've ever had in a pub. Presentation was amazing. Great Value. High Praise to the Owners and Staff at The Thatch. I will definitely be... More

After a day's golfing nearby we decided to try an early evening meal on the way home. First stop was not, in fact, the thatch but another venue a few miles up the road which looked promising but the dining area was deserted so we gave it a miss. Having seen The Thatch on the way over earlier in the... More

An imaginative menu, beautifully presented, with cheerful attentive staff. A large group of ladies were, once again, singing its praises!
