Great for special occasions

The food and service are excellent but expensive - say £30+ for a main course, £24 minimum for a bottle of wine and £4.50 for a pint of beer. It has really genuine old decor in a manor house setting with an open fire. The staff are very attentive but not over the top and the restaurant has an old... read more

Our spa day was prefect, felt very welcomed and looked after. Full body massage was excellent. Great value for money included hot lunch meal of our choice with a glass of champagne.

We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. I would recommend booking as it was very busy. The staff were very attentive and looked after myself and my husband. We were not disappointed with the food it was well presented and delicious. The restaurant is in keeping with the style of the hall. I can recommend the rookery breakfast.

Easy review really. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Hotel was excellent. Staff are superb, everyone smiles and nothing is too much trouble. Something that we particularly appreciated was the complete lack of rush to get us fed and out of the restaurant, we enjoyed a fine meal in a beautiful setting at a wonderfully leisurely pace.

Loverly hotel. Gorgeous spa but o was a little disappointed that they didn't offer sports massage. As they pointed out its more of a relaxing place than therapy. I still think that they should offer some deep tissue and sports massage. I think they are missing a trick here.

What better way to spend a damp Autumn afternoon than having a lovely afternoon tea. Really excellent choice and quality, sandwiches served on a variety of breads, warm scones and plenty of delicious cakes, try the White chocolate profiteroles exceptional just as good as top London hotels
