Average food, cheap but service good and friendly

Been many times before but usually on a very busy, noisy Friday. went midweek for a change. And what a change! Very quiet and peaceful. Good service and food arrived quite quickly. One had roast dinner, beef was excellent. Other had ham, egg and chips. Huge portions and hot. I had cheese sandwich... read more

Visited during May 2015 for my sons 3rd birthday party, After paying a deposit online I visited the week before to pay the final balance. The party venue itself was clean but very tired, a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss but that aside the venue was clean and the staff were polite, attentive and courteous nothing was too much... More

Went here for son birthday mainly because of the wacky warehouse. Tried to go in to ww and was told very rudely they were full. Had lemonade which tasted 'dirty', sat there hearing men in bar 'f-ing' this and that very loudly.Went outside to a strong smell of marajuana! All while I had a couple of toddlers present! Not at... Impromptu visit . Couteous staff. Friendly welcoming. Excellent choice on the menu and excellent value food. Prompt service and food. Well looked after and good quality homely food. My daughter and I both had sandwiches and chips. Prompt, freshly cooked. Will be returning.

Went to the Waggon & Horses for a friends birthday meal, it was their choice of venue. Although the staff are very competent the food is horrible. I had a square burger which was burnt on one side and chips, everything was barely warm. My husband had chicken waffle burger which he said was awful. There was a 2 hour... More

Had a voucher for kids eat free, thought we would give it a go as its local. They should have paid us to eat there! Never eaten rubbery chicken until I'd been here! When we tried to complain the reply was 'everything's made fresh' will be avoiding like the plague!

Went for sunday lunch, at £5.49 couldn't complain about the price. There was a wait of about 30 minutes for food to come but to be fair we were warned about this when we ordered. Food was fairly average but good value for money. Lots of meal deals on offer, very child friendly but don't go if you want a... More
