Jabula is a lovely little restaurant with a South African theme. The food was really excellent - either from a more UK-type choice menu or a game from S Africa menu such as osterich, springbok, zebra and crocodile. All were thoroughly tasty and extremely well presented. It was excellent value for money, expecially the set game platter. Then afterwards we... More

As we had eaten at Jabula once before a couple of years ago and enjoyed the unique experience, we were really please to receive a voucher as a Christmas gift entitling us to a Game Platter. We weren't sure what we would get and hoped it would be as good as last time. Overall it was a lovely meal. We... More

Been here a few times in the past and raved about it, but it had been a couple of years since we last went. The food, as ever, was amazing. We had an Ultimate Platter between two of us. More than enough food and really well cooked and presented. The restaurant itself is starting to look a little shabby/run-down, and... More

We haven't been for a few years as we live a long way away and we weren't disappointed. There's a great atmosphere, the waitress who looked after us explained in detail all the South African dishes, the service was excellent and the food delicious. We chose S.African food - why go there to eat English? - and they were well... More

Situated by the Manchester Ship Canal. Great location and somewhere I'd go back to in the summer. Small area to park. A homely feel to the place. Food was great!. Services with a smile. No complaints here. Recommend highly. Like I said above, I'd definitely go back in the summer :-)

Our visit to Jabula was a first-class experience! From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we were in for a great time. The atmosphere was briliiant, with African music playing in the background, tables covered with animal print patterns (cutlery and crockery very aesthetically layed) and authentic decor. We chose the ultimate platter, which consisted of a... More

Staff were brilliant, very welcoming and gave excellent service. Recommended the "game africa" dish and said it was the most popular and it didn't disappoint! Always looking out for new places to eat and places to try new food and this was the perfect place to do it. Zebra, Ostrich, Venison and Crocodile isn't what I'd normally go for but... More
