Excellent service and catered really well for my gluten free needs. I had to book in advance but they bought in gluten free bread and offered me different dishes.

We visited jabula on August 30th for my birthday with another couple. The restaurant has a lovely African theme sat alongside a river. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere has a holiday feel to it. As it was my birthday I had to complete a birthday challenge which I won't spoil the surprise of but we have never... This was our second visit to Jabulas and once again we were treated to an excellent evening. There is a great vibe to the restaurant and the staff are very welcoming. We went with three other couples for a birthday celebration and Jabulas didn't disappoint. The food was excellent as was the Tuskers lager! The biggest hit was the African... More

This was only my second time to jabula. Last visit was about 8 years ago. Came for a friends birthday. Service was great. Food really tasty I had the game selection for mains and prawn cocktail to start. Great atmosphere and great location. It's really peaceful. They go all out on birthdays. My friend had to try and pick up... More

We absolutely love the meal choices at Jabula, the staff are very friendly and the food superb, we cannot fault anything. In fact we visit every year to celebrate our anniversary & wouldn't think of going anywhere else, there's no where better!

We stumbled on this accidentally but so glad we did...staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing...i tried crocodile and ostrich, both were so tasty and cooked to perfection. The setting is pleasant with boats sailing past. It's a must visit to try new cuisine.

Came here last year for my Nan and Grandads 50th Wedding Anniversary, and what fond happy memories we had. Returned this year and it honestly felt like a completely different restaurant. Food wasn't of the same standard, service lacked any kind of charm or warmth, really disappointed. Maybe it was the difference in evening and lunch service? Just felt like... More

We booked well in advance for a Friday evening, and rang a few days before to order the Ultimate Platters for the four of us. It was a pleasure to speak with the owner Annemarie on each occasion. We were staying at the Holiday Inn a few hundred yards away, so walked to the restaurant which was small, warm, inviting... More

On entry the reception was friendly and efficient. The meal was fantastic. For starters the Frikkadel with a side of Boerewors was delicious. The main just about finished me, it was Cape Bobotie and tasted fantastic. The finish was a great apple pie with some very nice ice cream. Would like to return here one day.
