Visited the above pub with my wife for a meal after we heard it had a recent refurbishment, and was very happy with the changes that have been made. The pub was an Indian restaurant and it has now been transformed by Andy and Lynne the new Licensees. There is a great selection of beers including an extensive range of... More

Under new ownership after the closure of Kokonut Grove and re branded as 'The Cheshire Cheese". Now operating as a traditional pub serving the usual range of drinks and competitively priced food. Initial pressions are good and crrtainly worth a visit. It will have to br good consistently to survive in the current environment for pubs in Crewe

After waiting several years to revisit my local I am pleased to report this pub is definitely back on the map. After an excellent refit and tidy up the place is back to its former glory. Car park, beer garden and bar have all been very well restored and redecorated. The licensee promises a range of six real ales at any... More

Devestated when we heard Sree and his te am were being forced out by the brewery. We have had family meals there on countless occasions with family coming from all over the country. My son, from London says it is up there with the top 5 restaurants in London! Do hope Sree finds somewhere local to re-open and the new... More

Really sad that this wonderful restaurant has changed hands, truth be known it is the greedy brewery that have brought this on! Sree, the landlord had made this place a really really special place to eat, drink and socialise. Then the brewery decided they wanted a cut of the profits! So now we have nowhere decent to eat in the... More

Visited for a meal and to my dismay read the sad news that The Koconut Grove may be changing hands. My family and firends have had some fabulous meals and nights out here and feel that the village have lost a valuable assest. We wish you all the very best of luck with your next adventure and will hopefully see... More

The Koconut Grove is closing (maybe changing hands but no hard information on that) on 15th June. It's really sad because it was a bit different to other local eateries.

We were a large group (about 24) and had pre-ordered but starters came out together as did the mains. The prices are extremely low but the food is very tasty. Us wrinklies get a particularly good deal for weekday lunches. They had a selection of beers including a very acceptable hand pulled bitter. Two of my colleagues who are vegetarian... More

Not been here for a while but had a fabulous meal the other night with friends. We all had a different starter, mains course and desert and every one of them was excellent. The service was efficient and courteous and we didn't have to wait long either. In fact we were all so impressed we have booked New Year's Eve... More
