Food was good. Service was shocking. Missed a meal off our order plus the order was incorrect. Waited over an hour for our food. No communication from any of the waitresses.Waitress is clearly only a bar maid!!

We went to the cheshire cheese for tea tonight. Was a lovely friendly and welcoming reception from barstaff. We sat down and the waitress for our table was polite and very helpful. All of our meals were hot and delicious extremely great value for money. To top off a lovely meal there was a fun pub quiz. We will definitely... More

Enjoyed the food when The Cheese first re-opened however the past few times we have visited we have always had a problem with something. Visited a few months ago, various meals and condiments were unavailable due to a delivery issue and my husbands apple pie was still frozen in the middle even though it was meant to be served warm.... The food was well above average and not your typical burger and chips and obviously freshly prepared and well presented and served with a smile. I highly recommend the sea bass risotto followed by praline profiteroles and chantilly cream mmmm. We were so impressed we stayed... More

Unfortunately we did not make a reservation and arrived around 1.15 pm and were told there would be a forty five minute wait to place our orders. Unable to. Comment on the food as we left to eat somewhere else

I visited the Cheshire Cheese with my husband last Friday evening, very long time since I had been before. The decor inside was very relaxing and uncluttered, staff were very friendly and took time to take our order and the food was excellent, the best meal I have had at this type of restaurant in a very long time.
