Just been for lunch today with friends and would not go back. No atmosphere, no music, staff with as much personality as a pencil. We asked for a late and cappuccino and ended up with 2 milky waters. We were served by a waitress who looks so young... no people skills, food AND drinks went to the wrong table, no... More

The Cheshire Cheese is the closest pub to where we live that does food and my goodness it's fabulous. The staff are kind warm and attentive. Management can't do enough to help you if you have a query or issue. They do budget priced Christmas Parties and Christmas Day dinner and pub grub great food daily. The food menu has... More

Went In today with a few friends and got greeted with a warm welcome! We got advised to take a seat where we feel most comfortable. After 5-10 mins we ordered food and drinks. Between us we had a mixed grill burger. A trio burger and a medium mixed grill. After tasting the food I don't think I could eat... More

The management have recently changed. But the rude unhelpful barmaid has been kept on. She is part of the reason the other people failing, so can see it happening again for the unfortunate new people

Took a drive out to here today for Sunday lunch. I quite enjoyed my chicken dinner ,although the mean said half roast chicken , it turned out to be a chicken breast portion. To be fair, we kind of new something had changed here, even before we arrived. The telephone line had been cut off when we tried to book a table! but that said a month or so prior we had a real decent meal, so off we went again. On arrival, it appeared quite busy, quite quickly we had been told... More

This place used to be excellent. Popped in for lunch with the family. Everybody left half their meals. The pork burger was disgusting and full of grizzle. The scampi was soggy and not crisp and the chips weren't very nice. 2 small roast potatoes with a Sunday roast just doesn't cut it. A poor selection of drinks for kiddies. No... More
