A very nice pub, good food, but awful service, waitress was very nice, but bar service and manager was not helpful at all, no smile while ordering and would not give you any request for a child and vegetarian. Will not be visiting again

As a regular visitor to The Coach House over the last 6 to 10 month it's a pleasure to be able to say that this delightful pub is actually getting even better! The food and drink is always reasonably priced, well presented and tastes fantastic. The service is personal and friendly, you always feel welcome and valued here. Location wise... More

The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is the best pub food in town, rib eye steak is second to none and cooked to perfection! Great atmosphere and looking forward to spending summer evenings outside on the lovely new furniture!! Keep up the good work guys, you ARE the best!

Waited for about ten minutes at the bar to be served and was ignored by the barman who was moving some bottles about then another couple of customers walked to the bar and he served them. After serving them he then moved onto someone else who had just arrived when I interrupted saying how long I and my friend had... More

We visited last Sunday for my birthday. The rump steak should be renamed rump fat, at least one third was inedible. My husband had mixed grill, again the steak was tough and not pleasant. We visited about 4 weeks ago, 8 people and were not at all happy then, but decided that perhaps it was a one off. That is... More

Sunday lunch, a little late, Coach House offer a roast lunch for £8.99. No beef left, we had roast turkey, and rib eye steak. Both meals very good, excellent value, fast service. Can reccommend for this type of meal, good menu, reasonable prices. Only downside was the Greene King £5 off voucher, worth getting but be careful how you use... More

Another great time at the Coach House. Four of us went for New Years Eve and were so impressed with the food, service and entertainment. We were not sure what to expect and were a little apprehensive as you do seem to get ripped off sometimes going out on N Y E!! I can honestly say it was fantastic and... More

I liked the décor and the open fire in the dinning room. The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu was good with a good choice however when the food arrived I thought the portions were small and not worth the money, my sister had a duck salad which didn't seem to have much meat but lots of salad.
