Visited whilst staying with family in the village. An interesting little deli with a reasonable selection of items although much is offered in tins or jars. Asked for the staff member to recommend a local cheese but she seemed a tad flummoxed by my request? Left having purchased a small piece of cheese, jamon and some biscuits for cheese at... More

Lovely Deli offering lots of different food that you don't normally find in your average supermarket. Delicious fresh olives!

Early Saturday afternoon mid January. Looking for some basics for pre- pub supper. No speciality or any bread left at all. No quality or any ham except one unusual cure. Most of the stock here is dried or tinned. Whole place needs a bit of oomph and drive. No sign of any buzz enthusiasm or understand of what folk need... More

A delight to find such a specialist shop in this small market town. I have found them very helpful when I have been looking for the "unusual" and if you ask for advice it is freely given.

Difficult to describe the feel of the place. Not sure whether the staff mesh better with the regulars or whether hey are shy or just don't know how to chat in an easygoing way with casual customers. This is not a bustling busy shop. On the two occasions that we have been in there it's been just us. It has... More

Nice for choosing a food gift or cheeses for a dinner party. I bought a fig and walnut wheel slice which was really lovely and was enjoyed by my guests.

Visited this little spot to try something new. From the moment we walked in i could feel a negative attitude coming from the two women working there. We asked a few simple questions and the negativity worsened. Ended up selecting an item for purchase anyway, no one else in the store and both women were too "busy" to serve. Waited... More

Estrella was our choice for a takeout meal with a difference. A little tired of the usual curry/chinese we saw that the deli is doing a takeout meal consisting of a main course, a side dish, a dessert and a bottle of wine for two for only £15. Ah, I hear you say but M & S and Tesco do... More
