From sitting down ordering the reasonably priced drinks and nibbling the good choice of nibbles I had a lovely birthday meal...but don't just save this restaurant for special occasions, lovely choices on the menu which I thought innovative, the waiter very informative, admired the inobtrusive assist of somebody less able, walk ins were catered for but I would always try... Great dinner, food was exemplary and the drinks were great. Service was attentive and the location was easy to find. Prices a little expensive, but worth the cost. Would return.

Had heard good things and so popped along early in the week for dinner with the better half. First thing to be aware of is that the restaurant doesn't have any parking facilities so perhaps allow yourself a few minutes to park on the local streets. It was pretty quiet when we visited, so there was a distinct lack of... More

Called in yesterday evening without a booking and was given a table for two near to the bar. Food was excellent and the service friendly and not fussy. A great find and will certainly return when next in Buckingham.

We booked ourselves in for a Saturday lunchtime visit, probably didn't need to it wasn't that busy at lunch time, but I'd guess that you would be better off booking for an evening visit. The staff were friendly and accommodating: we didn't know if we were a 2 or a 3, but they were helpful and understanding. There is a... More

My lovely offspring treated me to lunch at Nelson Street. I've eaten here a few times and the food has never disappointed. I opted for soup of the day, followed by a divine goats cheese salad. My little darlings plumped for starters of chorizo and squid salad - and melon and duck salad .. Simply had to distract their attention... More

My wife and I eat here today for lunch we had the fixed price menu which was an absolute bargain. My wife had the duck and melon starter with chilli cash nuts, which was delicious and I had the squid and chorizo salad with celery leaves, also yummy. For mains we had the burger (just as good as Byron or... More

I cannot believe I haven't been here sooner! The atmosphere was perfect, the food was out of this world and the staff are welcoming, polite and truly work their butts off.....I cannot think of a better place for any kind of occasion! Just what Buckingham needs 😃

We went as a group of 7 and every single one of us loved the food. The duck and watermelon salad for starter sounded like an odd combination, but worked so well. The garlic chicken for main was delicious, with dauphinoise potatoes that weren't oozing with cream like you might find elsewhere but still moist and full of flavour. I'd... More
