A wonderful family dinner at The Cape. An eclectic menu including ostrich, springbok and wild boar in lovely surroundings. Mark was excellent is describing the tastes and advising us on the exciting menu. All the food was excellent, beautifully presented, generous portions and perfectly cooked - I know that I am raving about it all, but really, I am so... More

The Cape is one of the best places for dinner in the area. It is only open in the evening on Friday and Saturday so make sure you book. The menu is innovative with some really interesting choices with a South African slant. Everything is beautifully cooked and presented. The atmosphere is relaxed but there is a real buzz about... We went as a family and were disappointed to see only three items on the children's menu. Chose the picking plate which was overpriced for a piece of bread, a few carrots sticks, a handful of cheese and a slice of ham. Looks like it does well on cooked breakfast and cakes which we should have gone for. The decor... More

A varied menu with an interesting selection of Southern African dishes but nothing too exotic if you just want a simple cooked breakfast or a good coffee. The layout of the cafe restaurant has been improved and this has definitely improved the ambience. An area for improvement would be the service - some staff are truly excellent but it can... More

Its a really nice place to sit and have a great home style breakfast, not cheap but as if often the case, you get what you pay for and it is Beaconsfield, I'd like to try the evening menu one night.

My friend and I both had the smoked salmon Wrap with Smoothies, Latte's and Carrot cake. We had just recently been to badminton and the staff were very friendly to us coming in slightly late for lunch. However, the service was slightly poor but that can be forgiven as it was busy. On the bright side, the food was fantastic... More

The Cape: Beaconsfield - good place for breakfast. I had a good English Breakfast at The Cape. Good service too. The owners have recently upgraded the Cafe and this has improved the experience further.

This was my first visit to The Cape . We came for a Sunday breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. The decor is pitched just right being cool light and funky . The breakfast I chose had the South African twist with the type of sausage and a fried banana.. The poached eggs were perfect. The toast was a huge chunk/slice of... More
