Popped in for breakfast this morning. Lovely decor , good service but most importantly a great breakfast. Having previously been for dinner and had a lovely time with really good food I thought I would post a review.

Food was amazing at the cape, can't fault that. The service was average and we did sit with our plates for a while. The worst thing for me was the way the owner spoke to her staff. It was horrendous and pretty ridiculous to be honest. If I were them I would have left instantly. Such a great place but... More

This meal was off the scale in terms of presentation, quality of ingredients, combination of flavours, spectacular food, generous portion sizes, mind blowing high quality and service that top London restaurants need to study carefully. We had heard many people rate this restaurant as outstanding and our expectations where high; they undersold it. It is our new favourite restaurant by... More

It's really easy to keep going to the same restaurants, so when my husbands birthday came round I decided to book somewhere different, and I'm so glad I did! The Cape would be very easy to walk past as the front is very unassuming. The interior is a nice mixture of styles with chandeliers sitting happily with farmhouse tables. The... More

I went here for brunch and the food was delicious! I had the full English and all the ingredients were fresh and nicely presented. The decor was lovely and it was affordable too. I think this is my new favourite restaurant in Beaconsfield!

Place 8/10 Staff 8/10 Menu 9/10 Breakfast 5/10 Coffee 6/10 Lovely decor, friendly staff and a cool menu - all seemed promising. Selected from the breakfast menu (until 2:30pm Sunday - great!)... BUT - coffee was average, poached eggs over done/hard, boerewors over cooked/dry and the bacon lacked flavour/under cooked for my liking. I want to come back here as... More

Good for a drop in if out shopping and need a coffee. I cannot speak for the evening as I have not visited then. Only criticism is sitting at the back I felt like I was in the greasy spoon cafe as the smells of cooking were overwhelming.

Thank you for your review, to describe our premises or even have the front to compare us to a greasy spoon is somewhat damaging and down right slanderous, during the last few days with the severe hot weather conditions, we have had to during occasions, prop open the main kitchen door, I am sorry if the smell of the char-griller... Went to The Cape with friends having decided we wanted to try somewhere different in Beaconsfield and booked having seen the other reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed in the slightest.
