FABULOUS

Gourmet food overlooking the ocean. What's not to like ! Robert and his staff were so friendly and provided wonderful service. People travel quite a distance to eat here and the locals say it is their favorite place for 5 star food.

Wonderful spot with great ocean views. Hard to find, as mentioned by others. Outstanding food, terrific wine, nice appetizers and dessert, assured service. Tiny and crowded, but has that hard-to - find cool "old Florida" vibe. If they have hogfish, don't miss it, get it "francese". Also, the classic molten chocolate cake was fun. Good beef and escargot offered two... More

Great, old time Florida atmosphere. Located right on the Gulf. We had hogfish which had a light batter and capers. It was excellent. The seafood crepe for an appetizer was also fantastic. Had the flaming strawberry and cream desert and it was wonderful. The owner visits with the guests and the wait staff are efficient and friendly. It is hard... More

Drove past the place three times to find it because the little sign posted is tucked in between parked cars on a 55 mph. highway. We were led up the stairs to this dumpy old place on the second floor and waited nearly an hour to be seated even with reservations and nearly another hour to get served. The service... More

Keeping it simple this time. Awesome all around. Based on the condition of the"resort" we were almost ready to turn around, but this was truly a diamond in the rough. Outstanding food and lovely view. Highly recommend.

Pull into the Rainbow Bend Resort's shell and stone parking area. Down the path past the office, and climb the stairs, and climb the stairs. Hooray! Its truly a gourmet treat unexpected in the laid back fish centered Keys. Wine list is well selected and very fairly priced. Make a reservation for 4:30-5:15 and enjoy the best bargain in "Early... To start this place is tucked behind a run down resort and the restaurant is also a little run down. The food for all of us was fair with small portions. Which is fine but very pricey. We got dessert because no one at our table was full. We shared the desserts and our meal for four people was $250.... More

Just returned from our vacation which included our second visit to this restaurant. The first visit was a pretty good experience probably enhanced by the anticipation and the fact that we were in the main ding room instead of the south end of the porch. On our first visit we were with friends and the service was also better. This... More
