We visit this place usually when in Riviera Maya, nice wide beach where you can walk for a long ways, both North & South, nice swimming beach. Food has always been good. However, just there the last week of September, and they ripped me off rather good. To get to the club you must either walk or drive in from... More

Wonderful and beautiful beach, as always, but the 'free' red chairs are very poor...no, very bad. Even the loungers with umbrella you pay 200/250 pesos for, are not in the best of shape. Time to upgrade folks. Food n service was fine. I know its low season but neither shud suffer.

Pay 40 pesos a person to get in, if you spend 120 pesos per person at the restaurant/bar they refund it on your way out. They charge for the chairs unless you buy something, so it's better to just get some drinks. 150 pesos gets you a bucket of beers, can't beat that! However our server Tito (27 according to... More

This place wasn't quite what we are expecting. It definitely isn't a resort style by any means, but it was still a good trip. The buildings seem old and it doesn't have all the amenities of some of the other places in riviera Maya but we enjoyed the atmosphere. And the beach was spectacular, probably the best we've been to... More

We came here last week after snorkeling at akumal. This place was great. It's the Mexico I remember from 20 years ago. Not crowded and beautiful. Great food, great drinks and great beach. My kind of place. Would go back here anytime.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be brought here after our tour of Tulum and snorkeling in Akumal. The chicken and fish tacos were excellent! The view is breath taking! We loved the hammocks and swimming in the beautiful blue water!!

We were staying in Akumal, and since the bay is so over crowded we have spent the last two years at this beautiful place. We don't go for the food, but for the beach. You have to pay $4 each just to get in, then you have to pay $12 each for the second tier palapa and two chairs, or... More

We stayed 10 days next door, at Catalonia. Walked past on Sunday, it was crowded & lively. But during the week, pretty empty. So fast service. My husband loved the shrimp ceviche and a beer, I ordered fries for lunch, with an OK margarita. Relaxed setting, great view.
