My husband treated ourselves to dinner alone, breaking from our family of 13. This was the perfect location for a romantic dinner for two. A long trek down a dirt road ends at the Al Cielo hotel. Walk forward through a beautiful jungle setting to the most stunning open restaurant. Set in a large thatched roof hut, the restaurant sits... More

We were staying at an all inclusive down the beach and stumbled on this little 8 room hotel and food spot. We had a small lunch here with cold drinks. Food was excellent and nice open air patio with on of the most beautiful beaches. We will be staying here next visit. One thing is it rather pricey! I was... More

We had visited a few beaches and beach restaurants during our month stay(self catering) in Playa del Carmen. All were so so, some less so! One or two more so! Then we found THIS! It is quite beautiful. One of the best beaches ever and this restaurant is amazing! Positioned right on the beach, we had Sunday lunch! Wonderful! Difficult... More

I said I would go back and I did and again was very disappointed. I had called three times make a reservation, ending up leaving a message. We turned up and I had to plead, as a many time customer, for them to give us a table for lunch as they said they were fully booked . We were the... More

This started off as the most fabulous beach restaurant… I have been coming 4 times a year for the last 7 years. The food has always been amazing, the view , of course, is spectacular, the service, quirky/attentive. Now it is more sophisticated and going downhill. The attitude of the Management is not good: take a palapa but not those... More

We were trying to find a public acces beach for XpuHa beach and this was the only place we could find access. We were there early in the day, before the restaurant was open but they went ahead and let use the loungers on the beach. They were going to charge us $10 per couple but after we spent a... More

We've been there several times, weve paid in the past big bills and never been there without consuming something. but this summer we had a very disappointing and ugly experience. We got there at 5.45pm with no reservation and we told them that if it was ok if we could have just some drinks for the kids and adults and... More

We both enjoyed the food. We both had fish (sorry I can't recall the name), It seemed really fresh and done right; not over or under cooked, The staff were very attentive and the view was of course amazing, but that 's what you get in Canun.

We stayed in a condo nearby so this review is for the restaurant and the beach in front (they supply cabanas for two for 100 pesos). This is a great beach, pretty intimate. The food was great, served on white cloth tables (pretty unusual for an open air beach restaurant). The staff were very nice. We loved it, we spent... More
