The ceviche was tough, the fish undercooked, and all of it was frozen. My stomach did not agree with me after this meal.
Toby's is a great place in Xcalak to grab a meal. Lunch and dinner always something terrific to get from the menu. A wide variety to choose from. Also if you are lucky you might catch some music with the locals!
Amazing, fresh food!! Friendly atmosphere, very relaxing. Highly recommend the shrimp ceviche!! Toby is great , very alert to what's going on and he is very nice.

Perfectly adequate fish tacos, but its right on main street (such as it is) with no real view, and took forever to get a couple fish tacos
This place is on the main drag and had great coconut lionfish. itis an authentic, great, mexican food with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly folks serving you! Try to eat here and the Leaky Palapa when you visit Xcalak!
Toby is the consummate host and it was a pleasure to eat at this casual open air restaurant several times during out visit to Xcalak.
