Taking on count the small town this restaurant/hotel is in, the place is just great: comfortable, delicious, friendly... the menu has several options but I would definitely recommend the achiote marinated pulled pork or: cochinita pibil. It is so tasty! I've had cochinita pibil in several more places but this one is definitely the number 1! don't forget to accompany... More

Loved the restaurant. It's right on a big courtyard area, so beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The food was great.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the beautiful restaurant in the centro of Valladolid. The conchinita pibil served with sour orange and chilli powder to enhance the flavours was excellent. Others at our table enjoyed their meals as well which included chile relleno with a meeting stuffing, chicken fajitas and a Lomita dish. No one was disappointed and the prices... More

We had breakfast there several days as part of our hotel stay. They were okay but uninspired. Dinner was disappointing, over-priced and again uninspired. We had chile rellenos and some kind of yucatan pollo dish. Nothing bad, but not that flavourful nor good value for the price. The surroundings are pleasant though and the servers efficient.

Ambiance, great guacamole & steak. Good variety of dishes. Reasonably priced. In a very old colonial house with central courtyard with fountain. Tables are under cloisters and centre is open to the air. This has a good sizeable hotel attached at the back, complete with car parking. There is a car park attendant.

If you're looking for traditional Mayan food in a pleasant atmosphere this is a good bet. It's right on the main square in Valladolid and is fairly large, so they do cater to tour groups. And if a tour group shows up, and you're at a table for two, the service will suffer. The food was well prepared and tasty,... More

Nothing else to add, really. If you're visiting Valladolid, this is the place to stay. Right opposite the central park and main cathedral, great location!

We stopped here for lunch and recommended by our excellent guide. We only wanted a snack so have not sampled a full meal. We had chicken Fajitas and Pork Fahitas and both were excellent - very tasty and served with tortillas that were a little dense but pleasant nonetheless. Free tortilla chips with delicious salsa. All the staff wore hats... More

Recommended by the hotel as great traditional Mexican food. Location is the big draw: interior courtyard centered on a a fountain, surrounded by tables under the collisades, covered, but exterieur. Lovely calm ambience compared to the bustle of tourist buses in the !ain square. Service was attentive, but the food disappointing. Took the tasting platter, everything was a bit dry... More

We love loved this restaurant and went every single day of our stay in Valladolid. It is more expensive than the street food, but so worth it after a long day sightseeing and cenote swimming. The outdoor ambiance was lovely and calm. The food was phenomenal, portion sizes were great. The menu was in Spanish and English with sections for... More
