Excellent Customer Service

It's true. The food was just average. There is litterally only one option for vegetarians - a veggie sub with chips. The food is not terrible, but also not outstanding, however beer is cheap and cold, so it was perfect for the hot July weather. The customer service was really good, I give them 5... read more

The covered outdoor seating facing the plaza is wonderful for relaxing and people watching. We headed there as we saw a giant black cloud descending on the plaza. We ended up witnessing an exceptional rain event from that viewpoint, with friendly restaurant staff keeping us fortified with chilly beers, yummy guacamole and chicken tacos.

The staff are fantastic and friendly, and the trick is to order the Cochinita Pibil or the lunganizas - they're superb! I can't comment as to the rest of the menu, that's what I had both times I went! Although come to think of it, the guacamole, while not exceptional, certainly hit the spot too.

Good prices and right on the main plaza, but food was nothing special. Good service and nice people watching place. Nice for a snack.

This might be a place to people watch over a cold cerveca. Our lunch was good although my pork pibil actually had chicken in it. The tortas were very good though. It's a great place to take in the view of the zocalo except when the buses roar by. We even were serenaded by a group of Mariachis that were... More

The worst food we have had in Mexico. We had the chicken tacos and chicken escadrillas - boring experience. But friendly staff.

Food was pretty bland and a bit overpriced. Staff was not overly friendly or overly attentive at first but more friendly as we ordered more. Location can't be beat though and one of few places in area with outdoor seating. We probably would return for drinks but not for dinner.

Came to the bar/restaurant most nights during my week in town. Really the only place that you can sit outside on the plaza and people watch. Good value drinks and a mainly snack orientated food selection (most very good). Really friendly waiting staff who remembered me and what beer I drank which are the little things that matter. Good wifi... More

Food was overpriced. 85 pesos for a baguette with barely any meat. Great location right on the square. Grab a beer and people watch, but save your pesos and eat somewhere else.

We came here for lunch and really enjoyed it. We ordered one green soup (45 pesos), one veggie baguette (60 pesos) and one plate of nachos (35 pesos). All food tasted delicious and portions offered good value for money. A lady named Carla was the waitress that served us and was probably the best we've had in a year or... More
