Restaurante with an Extra

Restaurant that caters to the bus tour crowd. Not open for dinner, just lunch. Go just to see the unbelievable altar the owner had built in the rear garden of the restaurant. Who care what the food is like. Its worth a stop to see the altar.

Xcaret, the Mayan Disneyland of the Riviera Maya bought the place... So expect buses filled with happy tourists to invade the restaurant and the buffet at lunch time... Of course the existence of this place is very sad for the many delicious locally owned restaurants of Valladolid but they should be reassured: food here is disgusting, a kind of industrial... More

This was nice, clean and very good buffet for lunch. Awesome choices/varieties offered as part of our tour. Good place to take pictures as well.

We visited the restaurant as part of a tour. When we arrived, another group arrived soon after, meaning that it was extremely crowded at the buffet area and we had to contend with other tour group folks (of varying levels of etiquette) to get any food and drink. That did dampen the experience quite a bit, but could not ruin... More

We enjoyed our buffet lunch here after visiting Chichen Itza. There was a wide variety of authentic Yucatan and regional dishes which included desserts and fresh fruits. It was very crowded and it seemed like a lot of local people were eating there. Try the Chicken Lime Soup and the Black Beans with Pork - both very tasty. After eating,... More

Part of an organized tour. The setting is colonial and is cool with obvious religious tones. It is a buffet. Our guide was kind enough to let us know the foods to try---Lime soup ( 5 stars). Turkey in black sauce ( 5 Stars), Fish ( 5 Stars), Pork or chicken Piblis ( 5 Stars). Actually the whole buffet was... More

This restaurant is amazing, especially for Mexican food lovers. Great variety and quality with lovely internal setting (Mexican colonial style), including a religious architectural piece in the back of the restaurant.

Called into the Casona de Valladoild late afternoon as part of an organised tour having visited Chichen Itza earlier in the day. To say I was hungry was an under statement and things looked promising nice welcome, beautiful and historic building, very atmospheric and colourful. However the buffet was pretty empty by the time we arrived as I dare say... More

The food was wonderful! The outdoor setting was beautiful for a family or a romantic dinner for two. It was very clean and well maintained. There is a large array of things to eat and the guacamole was INCREDIBLE!!
