attractive with a beautiful shrine, food is good

Our tour took us here for lunch (Experiencias Xcaret). The food was good. The best part was the architecture and the shrine.

We are not sure about the food since we stopped for dinner around 8 pm and they were not serving but were told to comeback for lunch which they do serve. We returned the next day and were told they only have a buffet until around 5 and they serve dinner with a menu, except they stop serving at 6:30?... More

We stopped here for lunch after a visit to Chichen Itza. It's a beautiful restaurant with local flavours. Here we get a chance to savour all kinds of soups, drinks and the local Yucatan foods. We enjoyed ourselves although we did not eat much_ just happy to see this place and taste the food.

We ate at La Casona de Valladolid after our visit to the Coba Ruins. I'm unsure if it is always this way, but when we went for lunch, it was a large buffet with a very wide selection. The food offered was mainly Mayan food with some Mexican dishes offered as well. They had everything from meats to vegetable to... More

I stopped at La Casona as part of a Cancún-Chichen Itza bus tour. Really enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. Valladolid is a charming place.

We didn't eat here but you are still able to enter the mosaic garden fountain which is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Also a very upscale gift shop, prices aren't cheap but they do sell quality pieces unlike the junk sold in most of the shops. Be sure to check out the masks on the walls.... More

This is a fine airy and bright restaurant. We arrived for a late lunch and had no difficulty in getting a good table. A buffet was available, and very good it was. We tried various dishes that we hadn't tasted before and they didn't disappoint. The staff were very pleasant, from the initial welcome to leaving. The surrounds are very... More

We stopped here on the way back from a tour of Xichen Itza which included the buffet lunch at La Casona de Valladolid. The food section was vast, the soups were excellent (of all things to eat on a hot day, but try them!) and the hostess was very kind. The food was packed into an area that was too... More

I sampled a variety of meat dishes. The soup would have been nice but there were no bowls available. I drank my sprite with ice because I forgot to have them hold it. I became quite ill that night. We ate at 3;45 in the afternoon with our tour group. My friend did not drink there and she was fine.

This place is really nice , the ambience is amazing .The staff is dressed in traditional dresses and the furniture is very traditional as well . The only thing is the food is not so good , its a buffet where some of the dishes are not good at all , although we found 2 or 3 dishes we really... More
