45 pesos for a meal that won't leave you hungry. Good selection of local food, great place for the budget minded.

My wife and I had lunch here following a recommendation from our hotel. The Amigo Casiano is one of the food outlets in the small food and clothing market off the corner of the main square in Valladolid. We asked the guys serving behind the counter what they had prepared that day and were given a chicken soup (sopa de... More

The food is very good in what looks like a place for locals. I had the winik plate which had 4 great local meat dishes, plus salad and rice. Problem is that it is quite hot in midday, obviously no air conditioning, but not even a fan, the place felt like an oven. Houseflies were everywhere, but none of us... More

This was a good stop for lunch on our way to the coast. Our name was called to collect our order. The veggie option was disappointing. The meat was top notch! Great drinks. friendly staff (did not speak english) A great tip in Mexico: eat with the locals. In this indoor market plaza, you can choose from a great selection... More

This was a great choice for us for lunch. We were staying in the Riviera Maya and were wanting something a little different than the ceviche and other sea food dishes we had been having. We stopped in here. I had the best tacos of the trip. My lunch items were 8 pesos each. You need to be able to... More

Semi-open food court bazaar (now sharing with a lot of bling! -Please, do ask why!) serving the common local dishes based on pork, chicken and turkey. A few panuchos and/or salbutes, a delicious snack anytime; ample and rich Sopa de Lima is my favorite downtown hot, liquid meal even on a hot day, with an Aqua de Papaya or fresh... More

When we walked into the mall, there were a couple of restaurants with short or no lines, and then there was this place. The line was about 10 people long. 5 waiting to order, 5 waiting for food. We figured we should follow the crowd in this instance. When we got to the window, there was an older man sitting... More

We were visiting Valladolid Yucatan to visit the country and a friend who lives there. Lucie took us to the market to have the best soup- Sopa de Lima in town.

Great tasting local food with food costing for, 8 peso to 40 peso. Full of locals and quick service no English but easy enough to get your order across. Get there in the morning or early pm as when we went back at about 4pm it was closed. Located near the main square in a bazaar/plaza.

This place is in the corner of what cannebest described as a food court. Serving mostly local people this place offers well cooked typical dishes until about 2pm. Choose from the signs, place your order and pay at the counter them wait till your number is called. Most main courses are 35 pesos and are substantial. We ate there 3... More
