We had lunch at Zaci but did not take a dip in the cenote - although it would have been good value, kind of a 2 for the price of 1! The food was pretty standard, although good. The service was friendly, informative and accommodating. The last being very important to me. We travel with our Jack Russell and they... More

The location and atmosphere are nice, and eating in the restaurant gets you free entry to the cenote. Our food was very tasty, although the service was slow.

With the meal I believe your access is free to the Cenote ... which is very nice! The Sopa de Lima is excellent as is the assorted platter of Yucatecan botanas ... delicious I remember it well from 3 years ago and I will visit again when I go to Yucatán again! The Cenote does need to be cleaned a... More

We ate lunch at the cafe, we had read the cenote was free if you dined there. The waiter did not speak English, but was polite and did his beat. The cheese quessadilas were good and actually had plenty of cheese. My husband had had his fill of cenotes, but I wanted to check out the Cenote Zaci after our... More

The food was good, though somewhat unusual fare from what we were used to. Friendly service, not much English spoken here. But they go out of their way to try to get understood. When we asked for the check, we ended up with a plate of bread. It will be a memory that we will laugh about for a long... More

There are hordes of tourists. Loud tourists. It's very annoying. Otherwise the cave is pure magic. Also leave your heart at home. There are little girls that try to sell you any kind of staff in front of the entrance. You will not really help them if you buy from them. The only thing you will do is to reinforce... More

This is an amazing natural spot right in Vallodolid, easy walk from main plaza, Parque Francisco Cantón Rosado. If you eat, you don't have to pay to enter the cenote. The food and drinks are great! Poc Chuc is the real deal! The proprietor is a fount of information and can keep you entertained with tons of information about history... More

Our advice (if you are new to Mexican food) is to choose the sample platter and find out what you like. You can work off lunch by swimming in the cenote afterwards.

My son and I recently visited the restaurant at Cenote Zaci. The restaurant sits right on the rim of a large Cenote. The water is crystal clear and there are ropes running across the Cenote to give the weary swimmer something to grab on to once you get in and realize you have to swim across the Cenote in order...
