The food really isn't anything special, however, its not bad either. I would say its average, as was the service. The stray cat that came up and sat by me was really adorable and could care less that I was so entertained by it. We arrived around lunch time and realized the Cenote entrance fee would be waived if we... More

This is a functioning cenote in the heart of Valladolid. Even if you go early to avoid the tour buses, don't expect to feel the mental calm that you can experience in more isolated cenotes. If you have a car, its better to drive out of town to the other cenotes.

This cenote is in the city and easy to walk too. It is cheap to visit, nice to swim in and you can jump into the water from about 10m. It was very windy when we where there and a lot of leaves and rubbish blew into the water.

With the main attraction here being the cenote, I was surprised at how good I found the food. Seeing tradesmen having their lunch here and women making tortillas by hand on a comal were good signs. It was easily on par with many other restaurants I've dined at in the region for both quality and value. The added bonus is... More

Have lunch at the restaurant at the cenote and you have free entrance to swim in the cenote. The food is typical Yucatecan and is as good as any other restaurant.

One of the least costly cenotes that I have visited, and it was quiet with only 4 others there when we visited. It's within walking distance from the central plaza of the core of Valladolid. It's a beautiful cenote to linger in, and have a swim.

Clean bathroom, cheap meals, delicious food. I ordered a little simpler meal here and it was perfect. Almost missed the patio overhanging the cenote... look for it and enjoy seeing the cenote.

If you have a few days in Valladolid it's worth coming for lunch and checking out the view of the cenote. They brought out some free chips with salsa and appetizers (one was basically just hot dogs cut up in ketchup). The roasted pig was quite good but the chicken Parmesan was not! (Lesson learned - better to order Mexican... More

This was my first cenote. It's in the center, maybe 500 m from the central plaza. The entrance fee is 25 pesos. The other alternative is to go the restaurant, pay 25 pesos for a cup of coffee and go to the cenote from the restaurant.
