Cenote Review: Impressive, Beautiful and Convenient.

Cenote Zaci is located in the middle of Valladolid, so it is easy to reach via walking or biking. The entrance fee is 25 pesos. The cenote is a huge hollowed out cavern that is very deep, with lush greenery on the opposite side of the cavern, climbing all the way up the steep incline to the... read more

This is hard to review because it's so strange... Most cenotes are hidden away snuggled off beaten paths in jungle areas. Zaci is in the middle of the city and feels more like a giant pot hole that a cenote. There is traffic buzzing above you, you can hear kids playing in their yards and T.V's blasting from nearby houses.... More

Lovely views of the cenote while dining at the restaurant. Food was good and the cenote is really impressive...wish we had had time to swim there.

Alberto Morales of 1% Travel took us to this restaurant overlooking the Cenote. We were treated well and tasted several dishes family style. The restrooms were clean and well taken care of. We relaxed and tasted many traditional dishes.

The food really isn't anything special, however, its not bad either. I would say its average, as was the service. The stray cat that came up and sat by me was really adorable and could care less that I was so entertained by it. We arrived around lunch time and realized the Cenote entrance fee would be waived if we... More

This is a functioning cenote in the heart of Valladolid. Even if you go early to avoid the tour buses, don't expect to feel the mental calm that you can experience in more isolated cenotes. If you have a car, its better to drive out of town to the other cenotes.

This cenote is in the city and easy to walk too. It is cheap to visit, nice to swim in and you can jump into the water from about 10m. It was very windy when we where there and a lot of leaves and rubbish blew into the water.

With the main attraction here being the cenote, I was surprised at how good I found the food. Seeing tradesmen having their lunch here and women making tortillas by hand on a comal were good signs. It was easily on par with many other restaurants I've dined at in the region for both quality and value. The added bonus is... More
