Good food, great service!

I have to say, we were very satisfied by the service and especially by the enthusiasm and friendliness of the owner. He took the time to ask for our plans and advised us on many possibilities. By example how to get easily to chichen itzu and when the best time was to visit, which cenotes in the... read more

If you like to sing La Chispa it's a good spot for karaoke. The prices are high, the service it's ok. Here, you can meet locals.

We arrived here after spending the whole day in Chichen Itza and cenotes, so our energy and expectations for a "crazy night" was very low; however, we got to La Chispa just for a drink and after meeting Eduardo, the owner, we stayed until 3am, singing, drinking, dancing, and having a lot of fun. He made our night and La... More

A group of us recently visited this restaurant while on a service trip to Valladolid. The owner and staff were fantastic! Our first visit was on a Tuesday night. We were able to sit around, have a drink, and sing some karaoke. They were very accommodating and really wanted us to have a good time. We enjoyed it so much... More

Very good and tasty dinner. Warm welcome from Eduardo the owner who advised us on the meals according to our needs (fresh & healthy). Food has a great flavour and taste. Amazing margarita. Very good advise from Eduardo on which place to go and to visit in yucatan. Thanks for this!! Place recommended!!! Tom & Emilia

Found this restaurant while walking past and enjoyed a great traditional mexican meal- guacamole was amazing! Really attentive and friendly staff and the owner took the time to chat with us and gave us some recommendations for our further travels in the yucatan region. Clean dining area and toilets and had the option of sitting inside or out in the... More

This restaurante was recommended by our hotel desk for local food, late evening dinner. The restaurant has been there since 1910, and the building looks like it's been there much much longer. It was quite beautiful and romantic. Many Mexican revolution themed decorations, like a giant Poncho Villa wanted poster... Picture earthy red color walls, small enclosed courtyard area open... Food is good enough, staff is polite, place is clean. It's a bit tourist-trap like but, considering the low price and the fair quality, we would recommend it.

We went to this restaurant tonight because -to be honest- we couldn't find any other restaurants open. But we had a nice meal! We had chicken with coriander sauce and steak, and they were both really nice! We were pleasantly surprised as the restaurant looked really touristy and the menu seemed somewhat 'snacky' (lots of nachos and quesadillas on the... More
