Best coffee place in town

Karla, the owner makes great coffee and has some wonderful pastries. Very nice and extremely helpful. She knows most in town, and will provide you excellent service.

Loved the cheap pizza here. Kept coming back for more. The staff are al very friendly. The owner and her hubsnad were also very inviting and I had a great view overlooking most of Majahual and the ocean to my left. Could no thave asked for an easier access place to get some good food!

Yesterday I had a wonderful triple soy latte and the tiramisu at Karlitas. This is hands down the best tiramisu I have EVER tasted and the coffee was wonderful too!!

Ended up here one afternoon while exploring the Costa maya. Needed good coffee so bad so that we could make it further down the coast later that afternoon. Cute as hell! Great coffee, from Vera cruz. Great flavor, mellow enough for all palates but still assertive. Anyone traveling south of the border knows that some coffees are wayyy strong. This... More

What a gem, the perfect way to start your day in Mahahual. They make amazing croissants and other baked goods, which when combined with some great local coffee, there is no better way to enjoy a stroll down the malecon in Mahahual.

Karlitas offers a nice variety of great pastries and cakes, great coffeand the kindest people...all to have in their patio or on the front deck, right across from a beatiful beach. It opens early, so it is the best place to sit and relax while the town wakes up.

Whether it's the ape tart, the cheesecake or the mere croissants, the attention-price-quality of the food is outstanding. Everything is either baked a couple of minutes before or that morning. And as everyone says, Karla is really nice to everyone, no nationality implied

Maybe it was the fact the croissant was 5 minutes out of the oven. Maybe it was the delicious coffee Karla roasts. Maybe it was the view of the Caribbean. The coffee and baked treats were very very good. This will be a place we visit regularly. If you find yourself in Mahahual.......this is a place not to be missed.
