Wish I had read the other reviews first. Run of the mill food, wifi not working, overpriced even before they add in a generous tip for themselves and let you tip them again on top of that.

My husband and I spent the day here back in the beginning of May 2014. We had been to Costa Maya in 3/2013 and went to Cococorona and loved it. The owner was very accommodating, and food and drinks were good. However, we couldn't figure out if that place was still open so we just took the bus over to... More

We spent the day here during our cruise . The only reason I did not rank the restaurant as terrible is because of our waitress Patricio who was great in every aspect but the restaurant itself is not good at all. Bathroom is extremely dirty and with no lights. Food is not authentic. Beer was not cold. The beach is... More

This place had great food and wonderful margaritas. What I liked most though were the people, they were so nice and bent over backwards to accommodate you. I appreciate that this place doesn't charge for chairs if you want to lounge and get some Sun like most of the other cruise stops. They just want you to enjoy some food... More

We visited the Tapas in early April of this year. We ventured into Mahahual because we heard that you could have lunch on a nice beach and use the wifi. I was surprised by how the places aggressively tried to get you to have lunch at their beachfront. They said beers are $1 but the sodas were way more than... More

Food was excellent. Alex was great, fun and funny. $1 beers were great and the beach is absolutely gorgeous. Very fun day in paradise. We were charged $9 in tax which I feel was probably embellished but would go again

We had great food. This was way better than the Mexican food in America. The waiters were so nice and we got free Margaritas

Good was really good. Pico was fresh, corn shells for tacos excellent, usually I don't like chicken tacos but these were amazing. Do yourself a favor though and take a picture of the menu and prices because they try to charge you $10-15 more than list price. Amazing how bad their math can get when the bill is due. We... More

They charged me a $100 pesos service fee because I did not buy food??? I only bought drinks. Lied and said that I had been told I had to buy food which was a lie. When the server offered us to buy fish or lobster we noticed they were being dishonest with the weight they claimed their items had, I... More

Our waiter, Alex, was THE GREATEST!!! Even though they were unable to accept credit/debit cards and we weren't able to leave a decent tip, he still treated us great. I hope all the staff is as good as he is for when we return.
