Great tortas and burgers!

Que onda is a really chilled place. Food is very delicious and cheap. The chef was really friendly. I had a burger, my husband had a pork torta, both were very very good.

This place is a little pricy but nothing extreme by any means. It was easy to find vegetarian options and we really enjoyed the lasagna and spicy arrabbiata spaghetti. The portions were bigger than we expected - very similar to an Italian restaurant back home. We went for dinner so the nearby attractions were closed so the place was pretty... More

We visited Que Unda three times while we were in Akumal. We had walked down the local lagoon for snorkeling. After snorkeling all morning long, it was time to eat. My friends said that he wanted to check out this place that had meat grilling on a standup barbeque. We thought we’d check it out. Que Unda is a Hotel/Restaurant.... More

We ate here often, and in a town like Akumal with no more than 10 dining choices all tolled, everyone in town seemed to get here as well. Great original pasta dishes with Maribelle's own home made pasta for dinners. Also open for breakfast an lunch, the pastas are the star attraction. Get there at the end of the cobblestone... More

The setting was lovely and the service was quick and attentive. The food, however, was just bad. The garlic breacd tasted frozen, I've had better frozen lasagna and the pesto was oily and seemed to be missing its pine nuts. I dont typically write negative reviews but felt compelled to do so because we chose to eat here based on... More

We ate here 4 different times during our week stay in Half Moon Bay (Akumal). It is off the beaten path which we liked. In our opinion it had the best mixed drinks of anywhere we ate during our week there (one of the reasons we went back 4 times). It is an interesting menu in the fact that it... More

It's located near our home in North Akumal so we naturally went there after arriving our first night. The setting is pleasant with a thatched roof and many plantings. The service was good as was the food. My

The food was awesome but a little pricey. It is Italian with great pasta dishes. Very good mixed drinks. The ambiance was interesting and quiet. It was the best dinner we had in Akumal. It is not on the beach, off the beaten path, and it is back by yal-ku so bring your bug repellant. I strongly suggest having dinner... More

We always make sure to have dinner at least once here during our stay in Akumal. The food is fantastic and the service impeccable. I recommend seafood pasta, I always get it and have yet to be disappointed!

Que Onda is an Akumal landmark. We visit every time we come to Akumal and we are never disappointed. This time I tried the curried shrimp pasta--out of this world. My husband went all traditional and had the lasagna--raved about it. Our nieces had the fettuccine alfredo and both loved it. The calamari appetizer was delicious. Service was great and... More
