First of all, Gary is an awesome person who happens to love his dog Ruby. Secondly, the food is great and the staff is very attentive. The atmosphere is so relaxing you never want to leave💚 I would highly recommend visiting Casa Cenote in Tulum. Kid friendly, scuba diving, and fresh fish caught daily!

The first visit early this week was fine. Last night however, our group witnessed a very 'DRUNKEN' Gary scream at staff and finally beat the hell out of his dog. He even picked it up by its neck, cursing at it! All of this in front of his customers!!! Never again!

Our food was delicious and our server Jose Luis was helpful and kind. This restaurant is right on the beach and across from a beautiful cenote. I'm curious as to how the bungalows are here, as it is a hotel as well. Great place! We had dinner one night and enjoyed the food so much we returned for lunch the... More

The restaurant charges 3% extra if you pay with a credit card (>1400 pesos), which is not stated on the menue. They only had half the things on the menue and the food was ordinary.

Since the seas were very rough we did our first open water dives at the Casa Cenote. Water was clear and calm. Entrance fee is only $50 pesos per person. They have snorkle equipment for rent and kayaks. There is a underwater photographer on site that took video and photos for us and set to our dropbox account. It was... More

Just came back from Tulum, and our family went to Casa Cenote for lunch. And they stole my credit card number and/or passed on the number to someone else who tried to go on a shopping spree 300 miles away. Thank goodness my credit card company shut it down. But be on the lookout and beware! The people were very... More

We just returned from a trip to Tankah Bay, Tulum. We ate at the Casa Cenote restaurant several times while we were there and really enjoyed our food, drinks, setting, and especially our server, Jose, who we had every time we went. Favorites were the banana dacquiris, shrimp seviche, chicken quesadillas, and the tacos.

Hola Readers! We were the only table in the restaurant on a rainy day. The Owner came in and he dismissed us quickly. Food was OK and Service was excellent. We asked waiter if the Sunglassed Hombre was the owner and he said Si ! I think he was more interested in other things other than a lone table on... More

We’ve been going to Casa Cenote for 20+ years. It is still one of my favorite places to go in the RM. Places like this are disappearing because of all the big resorts. Gary the owner, originally from Corpus Christi Texas has been here for 26 years. The first time we went there was nothing around him, they had no... More

If you are staying in tankah or Solomon bay, definitely stop by! The piña coladas and daiquiris are pretty amazing! The food is ok. Good not great. The cheese quesadillas and nachos are pretty good. Fish tacos weren't great. You can see the outlet of the cenote in the water just outside the restaurant. Such an amazing natural phenomenon to... More
