Hola Readers! We were the only table in the restaurant on a rainy day. The Owner came in and he dismissed us quickly. Food was OK and Service was excellent. We asked waiter if the Sunglassed Hombre was the owner and he said Si ! I think he was more interested in other things other than a lone table on... More

We’ve been going to Casa Cenote for 20+ years. It is still one of my favorite places to go in the RM. Places like this are disappearing because of all the big resorts. Gary the owner, originally from Corpus Christi Texas has been here for 26 years. The first time we went there was nothing around him, they had no... More

If you are staying in tankah or Solomon bay, definitely stop by! The piña coladas and daiquiris are pretty amazing! The food is ok. Good not great. The cheese quesadillas and nachos are pretty good. Fish tacos weren't great. You can see the outlet of the cenote in the water just outside the restaurant. Such an amazing natural phenomenon to... More

My family and I ate here several times during our 10 day stay the view is great and the food is decent. Located directly across the road from the cenote and a great place for a snack after going for a swim. They will also give you a "to go" cup of coffee in the morning.......

Great place to hide out and relax. Tasty margaritas, good food, and views to dream about. So relaxing, so different from everything around it. Let down your guard and chill. Enjoy it. Adios, SeaBass

We stopped in about 5 times in our 1 week stay (we stayed in a private home down the road). The view and the breeze are awesome! The service was not good 3 out of the 5 times. The chips and salsa were excellent. The food was good. The dogs provided pleasant entertainment. I would certainly go back...but not because... More

This place was such a nice treat. Very relaxing and a pleasant get away from the all-inclusive lunch buffet. Gorgeous view of the water, the playful puppies were fun to watch, the beer was cold and the food was delicious. We had cash to kayak across the street at the cenote, but their credit card machine was down, so we... More

Swim in the cenote across the street (upstream against the current) and you will be hungry and thirsty. Get recharged over looking the beach. Decent tacos and margs. Very laid back vibe.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE under any circumstances. It was awful. The rooms were built 10 years ago and have never been maintained and it shows. They are also unsafe, pilot light on hot water boiler constantly goes out, worried about carbon monoxide poisoning. No room safe and door locks of very poor quality. Bedding dyed to hide stains... We have been here many times over the past 20 years, and it is still a great place to view the ocean. We came for the Sunday bbq, which has gone up to $17.50. They had chicken, beef, and pork ribs, fried potatoes with cheese, and mexican style beans. I didn't want that much, so hubbie got the Q and... More
