Maybe we were just led astray, but Casa Cenote was not what we expected or what the pictures showed online. We were advised by our hotel rep to rent a car, drive to casa cenote and snorkel in clear water with tons of fish for 150 pesos. All of that info was wrong. Which isn't the fault of C.C. So... More

We took a scuba class at this cenote, its very lacking in facilities but the place is magical, its a very open cenote and the water is ground level, the visibility is great and there are lots of caves and fish, there is a shack that rents snorkle and life vests, there is a small fee to enter and a... We have stayed at a house on Tankahshore for several years and always eat at Casa Cenote. Great food and drinks and the view is awesome. Love to sit and enjoy is place.

This was the last day of our trip to Mexico on June 29. The only place I ate fresh anything while in Mexico... but the salsa looked great, so I had some. I was the only one of our group who did. They all said I was crazy. I was. 4 days later I am the only one of our... More

Great margauritas, clam chowder, and sandwiches. While watching the waters from the cenote bubble up into the sea, from an outdoor restaurant.

There were many barracudas to swim with when I was there which was fine. It was peaceful but definitely not my favorite cenote. I did love where it came out into the ocean.

Casa Cenote is a classic, beach restaurant right on beautiful Tankah Bay, with seating outside or under the roof. The original owner, Gary, is still cooking in the kitchen, and they have the best mixed seafood ceviche hands-down (and I order it everywhere I go!). There are some lovely accommodations on the beach to rent as well. Check out their... More

The restaurant is a beautiful spot along 5th Avenue, incorporating a cenote as part of the décor, or maybe the cenote includes the restaurant in its décor. It is quiet and tasteful, the food is excellent and the service is to be cherished. The restaurant is cooled by the water and air from the cenote. It is readily accessible to... More
