Fresh cooked breakfast and lunch fare at very reasonable prices. Menu on the wall is in Spanish and English, so don't be afraid to stop and experience some simple Mexican/American food.

We've stopped there many times over the years. The food is simple and straight forward...but always very good. It's a great alternative to some of the other busier places in Akumal. You won't regret it.

We stopped at Akumal shorty after noon time after a long drive from Xcalak. We searched for a simple lunch place and we found this one right beside the Super Chomak grocery/souvenir store. They have a good selection of western and Mexican fare. As for the price, it was average for a small eatery in the heart of a touristy... More

Great fast friendly service. Best authentic food. Wish we would have eaten here more instead of wasting time/money at the fancier beachfront restaurants in Akumal. Loncheria would be easy to miss if you weren't looking for it- very small and is located near the arch, next to the small grocery store. Also had great wifi which was a bonus.

What a treasure to bring your family to this little outdoor palace of deliciousness! You sit along a counter that wraps around the cafe as the cook puts together authentic and incredible food fit for the gods. Had the best tortilla soup ever and the huevos rancheros were over the top. Excellent prices, super friendly and kids live it. Once... More

It will be a little bit expensive if you buy your lunch from the beach side. we paid 9 dollars for the Beef Quesadilla which was very delicious and utterly authentic. Drinks? bring your drinks from you hotel and buy a cooler. You will have more stocks for yourself. I forgot their wifi password but I think it was akumalito2014.... More

Food was quick and delicious. Only complaint was the sodas weren’t very cold. Not as much of a “bargain” as anticipated so we made the (comparably-priced) Turtle Bay Café our “go-to” lunch place.

This little lunch counter is great. The beans and rice are very good and I could have eaten just that and been happy. It's not fancy at all, but good solid food that is especially good for when you are hungover.
