Amazing food

Excellent restaurant, beautiful menu. The baked goods are wonderful but the homemade ice cream is from Heaven.

I had lunch at turtle bay during my visit to akumal. We just stopped in hoping for a decent meal and were pleasantly surprised that the burger was quite tasty and substantial. Its easily a 10 oz burger with fries and costs about $6usd. Satisfying meal and good service.

Having swam at Akumal Bay we were both hungry. Having noticed Turtle Bay on TripAdvisor we set off to find the restaurant. It is nestled in a quiet area in Akumal and has a lovely traditional and colourful feel about the place. We were shown to a table and given menus. We ordered the Calamari to share which was divine,... More

Fun and colourful little cafe with a gorgeous range of food - fantastic juices and club sandwiches and amazing ice cream. We had a luscious lunch followed by home made ice cream cones - sample the rum and raisin! Really worth a visit

Turtle Bay is a long time standard in Akumal. Always good food, great, attentive service. Probably go here too often. But I will keep going back for more.

A cozy little spot with lots of shade and greenery. The menu had many things that looked great but we settled on the super foods salad and the jalapeño burger. Both excellent. It was great to see a kids menu! Service was friendly and the baking and homemade ice cream looked delicious! We will be back to try more!

We ate breakfast here and everyone loved the food. The breakfast burrito and spinach and cheese omelets were especially good. There were numerous cats wondering around which was the only downside to the restaurant. While it sits right on the road the ambiance is good. I would most definitely eat here again when I make my way back to Akumal.

We ate here in the middle of the afternoon. We had ceviche, calamari, margaritas and iced tea. The service was great, the prices so reasonable, and the atmosphere very relaxing. Food was quite good, with excellent tortilla chips!
