We ate here as part of My Private Tour. It was really good. Loved eating right on the beach. The chicken enchiladas with mole were wonderful. The flan was very nice too. Drinks were nice. great presentation and attentive staff. Also had rooms above. Would consider staying there in the future.

The location is very nice and the food is pretty good. However, it is overpriced. Most meals are in the 20-25 dollar range, which is in itself not that expensive, but do not expect much more than about 6 small to medium shrimp and about 3 spoonfuls of veggies. Little else. Service is not that great. We have been 3... More

The setting is beautiful but there are very few tables outside on the beach. So it's disappointing if all the tables are taken. We've been going there for years and the menu is always the same. Food is good, tables are set with linen ( rare for the area ) ant it is a bit more upscale than most of... More

Outdoor patio beach setting, with torch lighting and panoramic view of bay in North Akumal. A notch above the common taco fare for the area but expect to pay more. Fish dishes were delicious.

The food at La Lunita is the best in Akumal and the setting is amazing. You can dine inside or outside under the stars with your feet in the sand listening to the Caribbean. I love their coconut shrimp although everything we've eaten there has been terrific. Also, excellent service.

We went snorkeling to YalKunand found ourselves at La lunita. They had tasty calamari, ceviche verde de pescado ( yummy, my first time eating this) and tacos de pescado all in all was good and the view great. The sand was nice and soft.

This restaurant is right on the beach. The food is fantastic too. Black ceviche appetizer was great. It is off the beaten path but worth the trip.

I've now had 2 excellent meals here; lunch and dinner. The food is fresh and prepared with an sensitive touch, especially fish, always tricky to cook correctly. They feature Mayan spices and sauces, quite delicious and very unique. The waitstaff is friendly and knowledgable, they gave us great recommendations, including a Mexican red wine that was perfect with our meal.... More

This wonderful restaurant had an amazing menu from Lamb burger, lobster ravioli with a kick of heat, salads, and my choice for the night "catch of the day", a delicious whole white fish grilled to perfection with a garlic sauce for adding an additional dimension. Excellent service, a place where you feel comfortable dressed up, or in casual summer clothing.... More

The last time we were in Akumal this place was closed. So glad this time we were able to try it. Dinner was excellent and the atmosphere was romantic. Wait staff was very helpful. Best fish dinner I've had in the area.
