Spectacular restaurant!

Really excellent seafood and service, and extensive (and reasonably-priced) wine list. They agreeably accomodated a group of 14 and teh food was just amazing!

If you are staying in Akumal, try this place out. Very nice view and setting....and very good food. I highly recommend it. The coconut shrimp was awesome and my garlic grilled grouper was very fresh and delicious. My girlfriend said it was the best Sangaria she had ever had.

Sitting right on the beachfront overlooking the bay, the food was fab. Simple but tasty and fresh. We had fish sautéed in garlic butter. Perfect! Would highly recommend this place.

This was our choice for a night of fine dining and it did not disappoint. The wonderful view of Half Moon Bay coupled with great food and wine made for a great night. A perfectly dressed Cesar salad was a good start and my grilled shrimp was cooked to perfection. Other meals were equally good and a creative key lime... More

We dined at La Lunita several times during our stay on Half Moon Bay. The restaurant was only a 5 minute walk from the house we rented, so it was very convenient. We really, really liked the lamb burger for lunch...great flavor! Also, the fries with truffle mayo are so good! My husband loved the habanero sauce that was served... More

Much smaller than La Buena Vida, so if you want something a bit more intimate and quiet, try here. The drinks were very well prepared. The coconut ceviche was outstanding. Again, with any beachfront restaurant, be prepared for the wind. It is either gently caressing, or will buffet you!

We ate here three times during the week we stayed just round th corner from this restaurant. Get a table on the beach for a beautiful view of the moonlight on the sea and a lovely fresh sea breeze. Highlights for me were the soft shell crab, the mussels with chorizo, coconut shrimp and the chocolate fudge pudding

Start with the best Margarita ever. Sitting outside under the stars we had exceptional octopus grilled, Fresh fish and Cocoanut Shrimp. Two people had the Lamb Burger also terrific. Our server, tony, remembered us from being there earlier in the week which made us feel special.
