I was out in Akumal early July with some friends. After a long day of Cenote swimming we decided to pop by. Ive been here before and was happy to recomended to my friends. The restaurant is lovely very pescador style. Our feet were on the sand, and this makes it so relaxing. The wodden table, the decor, we ordered... More

This was our favorite restaurant during our recent trip to Akumal. The food was very good, the prices very reasonable, and the service was excellent. The meals came with complimentary chips and salsa. The margaritas by the pitcher ($200 pesos) were very good and strong. The mixed ceviche (large portion for $200 pesos) was the best that we have ever... More

They have the best Lime Soup here I have ever tried. I'm a foodie, I've had it a number of times and tried to make it myself as good as they do. Can't do it. Margaritas are also good (and strong). I've also had grouper, shrimp, and chicken fajitas (which are traditional, no sizzle plate). All good. Don't make eye... More

La Cueva del Pescador...(The cave of the fisherman) A friend and I booked a fishing trip through the restaurant. it was an inexpensive half day trip to catch Mahi-Mahi, it was off season and we did manage to catch two very nice fish. We went back that evening and they had prepared our fish in three or four different ways... More

We stopped by for lunch. The jug of Margaritas was more than enough to make us wobbly going out the door. Better suited for four than 2! Ceviche and grouper Wow!

My husband and I were recommended to eat here by our snorkeling guide at the Akumal Dive Shop. When we saw fish tacos on the menu there was no question what we both would order.Chips and salsa were quickly brought to the table and it was love at first bite. Seriously the best salsa I've ever eaten. Not too hot... More

This place was highly recommended for its lobster dinner and I am so glad I took the advice. I LOVE lobster and have had it many places all over the world and this was the best. A close second was at Le Tastevin in Grand Case, St. Martin. I agree with the other reviews about the Margaritas also although I... More

I had grilled grouper (fish of the day) for dinner and it was really good. They didn't have a big selection of non-fried fish, but they did have meals that appealed to my two grandsons, ages 6 and 8. The outside location was great, as the kids didn't disturb anyone nearby.
