Delicious, fresh, and fair prices.

Highly overated and overpriced. Much better and even less expensive restaurants in Akumal. Our meal was ok but the meals we had at Turtle Bay were much better and less expensive. Not to sound elitist because I love local places but I'd skip the Pueblo altogether. I suspect someone is playing games with the ratings for this restaurant. ..noway does... More

Had lunch at this small restaurant in the Pueblo of Akumal (across the highway from the beach.) The owner/chef Alfredo was very friendly. The Seafood Taco (grilled fish and shrimp) special looked really good, and 4 of us ordered it. Alfredo apologized that the shrimp had not come in, but we all ordered it anyway. A minute later Alfredo came... More

I went to El Ultimo based on TA reviews, and it did not disappoint! This little place is quaint and the owner, Alfredo, is so friendly and welcoming. I came with my husband and friend, and we had the fish taco special, mango ceviche, and pork tacos. We added on the guacamole, after the great reviews, and we were so... More

Great guacamole, good chips, pasta with cheese sauce like alfredo, yummy margaritas & fish tacos to die for! Seriously the BEST fish taco I've ever had (& I live in California)! Nice place with pool table & music videos turned on for the tweens. Several families dining. Would definitely go back. ..and I wish I had one in my town.

We at here a few weeks ago during our visit to Akumal. Get yourself out of the tourist area an venture over to la pueblo! The food is half the price and twice as good. We were staying in a condo in Half Moon Bay, and Ultimo became our go-to. Best food value around, hands down. Get the seafood tacos in a spicy mayo sauce, the outstanding guacamole, and the delightful margaritas. The service is so good, everybody feels like a local.
