Experience the best of contemporary Asian cuisine at Aramara, where influences from the Far East are blended with a taste of Mexico. Aramara - "sacred place by the ocean" in the native Huichol language - combines the simplicity of contemporary Asian cuisine with the produce and seafood of the Pacific, fresh from the shores of Punta Mita and the neighbouring fishing village of Sayulita, near Puerto Vallarta.

Tortilla soup on request

The chef made us a special tortilla soup that was not on the menu. I enjoyed a delicious beet salad with orange over an arugula bed.

Fantastic food! We ate here the first night of our trip, after a long flight. Everything was perfect.

If you are going to do a Japanese restaurant at the Four Seasons then do it well. The food was just okay, but the setting was lovely.

We enjoyed our dinner and thought the view was amazing! We had a hot rock steak appetizer and vegatarian main dishes, which were delicous and kep the cost down. The sweet chili tofu was very good. Do not miss the souffle! We had the banana cream cheese souffle and it was delicious!

This is an Asian fusion restaurant with gorgeous views of the ocean and the duck is a wonderful mushu mash-up using tortillas instead of the traditional Chinese pancake.

Aramara was by far our favorite restaurant we dined at during our vacation. We started with the beef on the hot rock and the spicy shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious. For my main course, I ordered the ahi tuna with the quinoa. I added a little twist to the dish by asking for the sauce the lettuce wraps came marinated... More

Eating outside (in and out of the shade) was ideal for this location. The guac (esp with bacon) was great. Good drinks, too!

We had high expectations but the food was disappointing. The best part was the "Hot Rock appetizer" - slices of beef you sear on a hot rock. The meal went down hill from there. They even comped my husband's meal because his octopus was "mealy & mushy". Mediocre at a high price. However, the sunset view was fabulous.

So glad we went. Relaxing atmosphere with very good food. The appetizers were better than the mains. Try the hot rock steak. Definitely order the souffles!! Also very good drinks.
