First day in Punta de Mita, out for a stroll and we stumble across Serendipity. My partner and I shared the mixed grill and the grilled prawns. We were not disappointed. All the meats were cooked to perfection with delicious condiments provided too. The ribs were so amazing we ordered more! Thank you Manuel for your great and friendly service,... More

Some friends recommended this restaurant to us and it didn't disappoint. Best food by far in town with extremely friendly service. We let the waiter order for us, and he delivered. It's not the place to go if you want the perfect on-sand dining location, but they take their cuisine much more seriously than their neighboring restaurants along the same... More

Quiet time, a little off season. The restaurant was empty (not a good sign?) but so was pretty much every other restaurant on this stretch, so who could pass up the beagle, Junior, sitting by the bar? Daniel, Samuel, and Manuel treated our party of 4 to a evening of cullinary delights. We were offered to pick off the menu,... More

We stumbled on this very charming restaurant and so glad we did. The food is amazing. BBQ ribs, sausage, steak and fresh fish. We did not leave hungry and could not wait to return!

We visited Serendipity over the Easter period and what a treat. I was amused to find that the restaurant shares a compound with the fishing charter company I used whilst in town (Big Tuna Fishing Charters) but the place is transformed at night time. Tables are set out on a sand floor over looking the small fishing harbour. Lights are... More

Serendipity is not a great place; the food is not bad but is not something to brag about. The service is slow, the best part of our dinner experience was the chips with a nopales salad that they give away on the house, it was fresh and the nopales had the right texture and dryness. The fish is just good... More

My second visit to Punta Mita (last time with my family, this time with a friend) and I just had to make a return trip to Serendipity. My friend is a bit of a mezcal connoisseur and he loved it. We sampled many different flavors and had a great time. Manuel and Danny are so warm and friendly, and the... More

We saw this place in the afternoon and it said they had the best bbq ribs in town. So we thought we would try it. They have a mesquite wood grill that they cook most food on, so it all sounded good. Upon arrival, there was some trouble in the kitchen areas with lots of commotion. Our server did not... More

For a Mezcaleria, I thought that their *only* Mezcal offering tasted more like a weak hibiscus punch than anything with Mezcal in it. Far, far better Mezcal can be had just a door away. We didn't try the food, but the menu looked decent, though limited. The staff was very eager, but the ambiance was lacking. I got bit more... More
