Authentic Sicilian Food and Hospitality! A True Gem!

What a find! A true gem! The outside is unassuming, but don't be fooled! Once inside, we were magically transported to a courtyard in Sicily. We spoke with Teresa and learned all about the history of her restaurant. Her family was from the same town as my husband's family,Termini, Imerese, Sicily... read more

Do not be discouraged by the street, it is very nice inside, and the owners are awesome. Excellent Italian food, well executed and presented. Great value for money. A block or two outside of the Punta Mita gate.

We lucked out and had dinner at this gem just before she closed for the season. Our host could not have been more helpful nor warm. The food was terrific. We shared the veal dish and the pasta bolgnese was outstanding. The decor was very cool too.

Had friends visiting us from the U.S. and they wanted to take us to dinner. We decided on Teresa's because we had never been there and thought we would give it a try. Wow, she is very proud of her food, I mean the prices were very high (no prices on menu) and the price on their wine was astronomically... More

Was really not expecting to find an old world Italian restaurant in Punta Mita but there it is. You feel like you've left Mexico and gone to Italy. Service was very good, food (expecially the meatballs) were amazing, and the price was very reasonable for what we had. Far and away superior to our meals at the Four Seasons -... More

Thresa's is both a home and a restarurant, although it is difficult to see where one begins and the other ends. Step into Theresa's which is filled with thoughtful personal decor. Greeted by 1 of 3 family members, old world service that is immeasurable by all standards of excellence. Seated and immediately presented amazing focaccia, hot from the oven, is... More

I've had my share of traveling to different places around the world, but i;ve never experienced something like this restaurant. Aside from the basics like good environment, decor, food and service. The owners o fhis place make you feel at home. Situated just outside of the tourist trapping and sky-high prices resorts like the four seasons. Its a small village... More

My husband and I joined our friends for dinner at Casa Teresa and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and the wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant ! Walking thru the double wrought iron doors into a genuinely authentic Italian villa ! Theresa and her family are awesome and we sat at the family table ! From the burrata on shredded beets... More

This is a gem! I have never been to Italy but I can only hope that my experience is as good as this one. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. We ate in the outdoor courtyard surrounded by plants and flowers. The food was excellent. The pasta was hand made and everything was fresh. Our meal was prepared... More
