Rosa's don't be put off by exterior entry. This is a TRUE KEEPER!!!

Guadalupe, our hostess, extremely professional yet personable. Value for quality regionally prepared food, ambience, beach location, service as well as music, is amazing. How is it possible to have bad Mexican food in Mexico you might ask? It wouldn't seen possible, but apparently it is! If you don't care about the food however, this restaurant is really charming, is literally right on the ocean and there is a wonderful breeze and tropical feeling out on the patio. Addtionally, when we were there there... More

Great location on the beach overlooking the ocean!! The service was wonderful!! Table made guacamole and salsa with roasted tomatoes were to die for!!! Seriously you must order this when you go. We tried their famous Mojecatas dish, a specialty of this restaurant. We also enjoyed their mole enchiladas....super yummy!! Top Shelf Margaritas were fabulous!! Thanks so much for a... More

There are a lot of beachfront restos in the Bahia area so one can get blasé after a while. We stopped in for a late afternoon drink after getting my hair cut at JigSaw (awesome stylist if you're ever in need) just up the road. It was quiet and we picked a table on their ocean side terrace. We were... More

You never really know what you're going to get when you walk blindly into a seaside restaurant in Mexico - could be a tourist trap, or even worse. This place was so good that my wife and I returned four times during the next week. The guacamole and salsa are made table-side and are about as good as it gets.... More

Based on the reviews we read on TA, we decided to give this place a shot. My husband, parents and I went at around 7pm (apparently most eat dinner a bit later than we did), to get what we thought was the best spot on the deck. Toes in the sand, view of the water and a nice touch, up... More

Definitely get the salsa and melted cheese appetizers. The were out of this world. The salsa is made right at the table with hot par-boiled tomatoes. Honestly, it was the best salsa I've ever had. Also the melted cheese appetizer was out of this world. Worth going to Rosa Mexicano just for these two items. Enchiladas were also great. I... More

Dined here at the beginning of our trip to the Punta de Mita area. After trying other restaurants in the area, am writing this review to advise that this place was just so-so. The ceviche and aguachiles were not as fresh as other places (example Blue Shrimp). The coconut shrimp were overly sweet and came without a price. Shocker: 390... More

As others reviewers have consistently noted, the table-side guacamole and roasted tomato salsa at Rosa is the best in Punta de Mita. Being seated right on the beach in the open air and starting with the guacamole and salsa set expectations high and the rest of the meal did not disappoint. We had a variety of incredibly fresh local seafood... More
