We've been visiting Punta de Mita's shoreline beaches and palapas for two years now. Margarita's was a favorite place for their strong margaritas and happy hour (2x1). We visited last night, and there is no longer a happy hour. But in Mexico, it could just be a communication problem. The waiter, James, was gracious, cheerful and spoke good English. (We... More

Love the beach setting. The seafood grill is wonderful and Abraham always puts a smile on our faces... As do the fishbowl-size margaritas.

If you're going here - do make reservations and sit out on the torchlit rock jetty. It's romantic and fun. The meal was good - not outstanding. Portions were huge. The jalapeno margarita was the best we'd had in Punta de Mita. Coconut shrimp was yummy and the selection of sauces was delicious and fun to try.

The guys at Mictlan Surf School recommended this restaurant to us and we are glad they did. Food was yummy and the service great. It's right on the beach and overlooks the ocean.

Just as good as Serendipity but better prices. All these beach side restaurants seemed about equivalent, though of course we didn't eat at all of them.

Have been coming to this area for 5 years. This meal was the least impressive. Worst ceviche ever! The prices were in US dollars with an exchange rate of 10 percent less than banks if you paid in pesos. Dining on the sand was very nice.

Had a lovely dinner here with my wife. We had the special table, the single table at the end of the beach, at the start of the jetty, encircled in lights on the ground and candles. Very romantic and private. My wife had the red snapper, and it was her favorite meal of the trip. I had the adam's special... More

Margarita's is just another beachfront restaurant with nothing to make it stand out. The food is good, the fish selection is what you expect from an ocean town, but the prices are not justified, especially the $20 margarita. I couldn't believe the prices on the menu in English and USD so I asked for the menu in Spanish and pesos.... More

The lobster was phenomenal and ceviche too. The service was top notch. Abraham, accent on the last syllable, brought out the entire selection of top notch margarita ingredients for us to choose from. He is great with kids and makes clients feel appreciated. He is awesome at is trade. Abraham and his hard working crew had recently expanded the seating... More

St. Regis concierge recommended this place for us. Great setting, maybe the most amazing sunset I've ever seen. Service was decent, treated my daughter quite nice which was cool. Menu was in $ and in English and felt we paid a tourist premium but good food so no complaints. Worth a visit for sure.
