Overall, a very good experience at Tuna Blanca. When we first arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant (at 8:15pm). They did not have record of our OpenTable reservation, and were surprised to see us there. We asked to be seated outside, but could not due to Hurricane Odile. They made up a table in the bar area... Service & ambience trump the food at this expensive restaurant now called Tuna Blanca. I ordered the mahi-mahi which was perfectly grilled. I should have stopped there since the accompanying sides did not meld with the fish and took away from its flavor. Same happened with my husband's rib and belly dish. The tamarind sauce was deliciously sweet but the... More

We had some amazing meals while on this trip and I must saythat Cafe des Artistes del Mar was my favorite. From the moment we walked in, First of all, the decor is beautiful. It is right on the beach and they've done everything in white, turquoise and silver. I had the pumpkin lobster bisque because it said it had... More

My parents and I ate here twice during our stay in Punta Mita. Our servers Raul and Alejandro were a delight. They went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions and really listened to how we like our meals prepared (i.e, extra spicy, etc.). We will definitely be back as the food here was excellent and priced very well.... More

What started out as a pleasant evening quickly turned sour. Food was undercooked, food delivery was slow, orders were incorrect. Two of us never got our meals, and two others ended up with dysentary. This place came highly recommended, but was a huge dissapointment with a very large bill to boot. Two thumbs down!

My dear friend, Anita and I had dinner last night at Cafe des Artistes del Mar (Punta Mita) in the middle of a fabulous torrential rainstorm. The restaurant is directly on the ocean and open air to the elements. Our servers, Alan and Alex were warm, gracious and helpful in selecting from the diverse menu. We ordered the sashimi and... We had a wonderful meal of seviche and lobster , excellent but a little overpriced. It was a pleasure being served by Osmar. He made us feel like royalty! We will be back for more great food and good atmosphere. Nothing makes an evening like personal service by a professional! Thanks again Osmar!!

Excellent ceviche and tuna sandwich for lunch and wonderful local seafood for dinner. The desserts are what really set this place apart, they are amazing!!!
