Tuna Blanca with the style and essence of Cafe des Artistes, but with a Mexican menu and atmosphere, beach type, chic and romantic, that gets in to a fusion with the best products of the region, organic, cultivated by the hands of local producers and fresh seafood provided by the fisherman of the Anclote beach. There is no doubt, an enigmatic restaurant, an obligated visit in Punta Mita.

Our New Favorite in Punta de Mita

We have dined at Tuna Blanca several times this season and have never been disappointed. Casual and Elegant. The wait staff is exceptional and the food is over the top. The presentation is unique. Especially dessert! Right on the beach, lovely ambience and kid friendly.

Everything from atmosphere to cocktails to the very last bite was incredible! A casual lunch consisted of some of the best guacamole I have ever had and a burger that was to die for. Dinner was elegant with innovative entrees and a dessert that I actually photographed because it was so over the top. The cocktails were soooo tasty and... More

We had Cafe des Artiste cater our wedding in Sayulita and it was a huge hit!! Our guests were raving about the food. Both entrees (the Beef Duo and Salmon) were cooked perfectly which I think is very difficult to do when preparing for large parties. Everyone loved the pumpkin and prawn soup and the octopus carpaccio with chili vinaigrette... More

If you're anywhere near Punta Mita, do NOT miss this restaurant, clearly one of the best we've eaten at in Mexico, or anywhere else. Ambiance, service, and food were so good, that we went back the next night. As other reviewers have stated, Jalapeno "martini" made with tequila was excellent. Make sure you order dessert even if you're stuffed, just... More

A gorgeous restaurant on the beach in Punta Mita. Fabulous food and attention to detail. Wear something blue...you will complement the tables.

Gabrielle & his boss Octavio deserve big kudos for the excellent service tonight. After reading reviews decided we should try during our stay in this sleepy town. More than we ever expected in both presentation & flavors from chefs appie treat to husbands birthday dessert on surfboard. Unique in so many ways, oh, and forgot to mention dining on the... More

We are big fans of Cafe des Artiste in PV but had never trekked to Punta de Mita to try Thierry's other more Mexican offering right out on the sand. Started with their amazing Jalapeno martini - can't rave enough about this drink. The two of us then strategized with our prince of a waiter, Octavio, and decided to have... More

Tuna Blanca, which used to be called Cafe des Artistes is one of the finest restaurants in which I have ever dined. It is certainly a destination restaurant. The service and food is extraordinary. Better, in my opinion, than what you will find at the nearby luxury hotels. Maria the manager is always available and incredibly professional and courteous. If... More

Food is very good, good choice with original flavour. Service is very good, and do not forget to try the Maceta dessert (flower pot), one of the most original I have eat. Very well located, on a nice plage in Punta de Mita, with a nice view. We went 3 times in a week and we will definitely come back.... More

As a frequent diner of great restaurants San Francisco, this was just as noteworthy. The Lobster and catch of the day were fantastic!!! Great location on the beach, modern decor, and great service by Miguel y Kristian.
