Tuna Blanca with the style and essence of Cafe des Artistes, but with a Mexican menu and atmosphere, beach type, chic and romantic, that gets in to a fusion with the best products of the region, organic, cultivated by the hands of local producers and fresh seafood provided by the fisherman of the Anclote beach. There is no doubt, an enigmatic restaurant, an obligated visit in Punta Mita.

Incredible experience

5 friends and I dined at Tuna Blanca after meeting Gabriele ( a staff member) a few nights prior. The ambience was beautiful and elegant, the food was even better. We arrived early for our 6:30 reservation to check out the surf break El Anclote in front of the restaurant. We were seated directly on the beach closest to the water, which would have been perfect though better would have been one row of tables back to leave us less exposed to beach hawkers, though it wasn't a constant interruption,... Our annual lunching at Tuna Blanca was excellent, as expected. Osmar and his serving crew are always wonderful to my family an remember us well. Lunch was delicious- they have added some items to the menu, including a section for the ninos. My 2 year old loved the guacamole, as did the rest of us. My shrimp aguachilie was very... More

My. Wife and I recently dined here. The view was great, right on the water and the food was exceptional. We had octopus and ceviche for appetizers which were terrific. Our dinners of fresh fish were wonderful as well. Our waiters Raul and Miguel enhanced our experience.

We were staying at the Iberostar and after reading some good reviews chose to visit for a meal on my 25th birthday on the 10th. The whole experience was great, we had a table on the beach it was beautiful, the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and the food was excellent! In all honesty we didn't really understand quite what we... More

Tuna Blanca truly lives up to its name "Cafe des Artistes". The food presentation is second to none. The service is second to none. You must order dessert while there because the presentation is so impressive. The ambience and interior design is pleasant. The food....loved the pumpkin soup...absolutely delicious....BUT ... would I go back .... maybe. While it was entertaining,... More

This is the "fanciest" restaurant in the Punta Mita area, not including the resort restaurants, and the colors and decor remind me a bit of South Beach. For the area, the food is upscale and while borrowing from regional spices and influences, is more fine dining than the "local" restaurants on the row. Service was excellent, and they start you... Had a great lunch. Had a simple club sandwich but it was very tasty. Waiter was great and attentive. This was a good place to get away from the intense sun. It was about 10-15 degrees warmer than PV. Waiter even arranged a boat for us to Marietas Island.

Located in the small village of Punta Mita, this lovely restaurant on the beach (with a lovely view) boasts excellent cuisine that does not disappoint. We will look forward to dining there again on a return trip.

The food was great. Service was medium. Piano music with too loud and over powering. WE were eating during a large dinner party (maybe a wedding) so I attribute the staff being a bit busy to that. I had delicious fish dinner. So good!
