The positive, the setting can't be beat. The wines were laid out on a table because you're in a natural cellar. The service was good, but it stops there. The food was made for the tourist. We were there in the off season, but I can see the tour busses rolling there. An example, the Flan. Very creamy, easy to... More

I loved Escamoles and Maguey's worm, was our first time but was really delicious, We loved the place is very amazing, music, design so natural. Great idea! I've to say our meals were not really tasty, our soups specially tortilla soup were tasteless. Seasoning isn't very good! You must guys work in your meals, it's a really nice place, don't... More

Beautiful, unique space. But food was bland and disappointing. The performers were good, although the ladies coukd have been more enthusiastic. They looked bored while performing their dances.

We were trying to find a place to eat before going to the Teotihuacan pyramids but all the restaurants on the area were very scary with people almost jumping in your car to make you enter them... So we had kind of given up and stopped trying to decide what to do.. "How do we grab a bite before going... More

A great place to enjoy a meal after a day at Teotihuacan enjoying the Pyramids. After climbing both the Pyramid of the Sun & the Pyramid of the Moon one works up quite an appetite! We visited around 2;30 on a Sunday – it was packed! However, they did find us a table after a short wait of around 15... More

After climbing the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan this restaurant is the perfect place for a relaxing rest & meal. It is the cutest underground cave which used to be used for storing fruits and now is a restaurant. I only had appetizers, but the quesadillas & Aztec cheese w/chorizo were both great.

This amazing restaurant is located inside a cave, just a block from the pyramids. It serves Mexican food and they make a show of typical mexican dances. I enjoyed it so much.

What a beautiful location! La Gruta is located in the base of a cave and can get very packed on weekends. We went for comida (3 PM) and the place was ghost town. We ordered food and had trouble getting 3 split checks as in most Mexican restaurants. We understand that's not the way people in Mexico do things, but... More

After a long visit to teotihuacan's pyramids, the only place that is worth stopping for a beer or even lunch is this one. It is 50 m or less from entrance number 5. This restaurant is set up in a cave. Quality of food is not bad, service could be better but considering where you are it is ok. It's... More
