We had a breakfast there cos it was included with the room. They are very slow with the service. The food was very average, nothing really special.

From bite-sized sugar cookies in half moons and stars and mini-biscuits greeting your morning, all day long from mid-day comida to night-time cena, this restaurant will open your eyes and broaden your horizens. It takes traditional Mexican food to a whole new level. Chiles rellenos bursting with fava beans and shrimp (separately, of... More

Traditional food but very good. Nice atmosphere inside but great to sit outside and watch the world go by.

We ate breakfast here three times this trip, and our attentive waiter remembered I was the tea drinker and my husband the coffee drinker, so on our third breakfast, he came to the table with a pot of water and tea bags, and a pot of coffee and breakfast menus! A truly lovely touch! You will have a hard time... More

Doña Paca is one of my favorite places to dine. There is no finer traditional food in Pátzcuaro. The professional members of the staff don’t “hover” (thank goodness!), but they are always there when you need them; the restaurant is impeccably clean; the food is always right on; right outside is the famous Plaza Vasco de Quiroga. What else could... More

This lovely restaurant overlooking the Don Vasco de Quiroga Plaza Grande has an enormous menu offering local Michoacan recipes and great breakfast options. The service is leasurely but offered with a smile and attention to detail. Evening dinner offerings are also wonderful

Patzcuaro doesn't have a lot of good restaurants, but Dona Paca is one of the best. The regional Michoacan cuisine includes several good fish dishes, chiles en nogada, chicken mole and other specialties. Desserts are better than average.

Good regional food, including a great mole sauce. Our room came with full breakfast, which we very much enjoyed. Delicious omelettes, a nice plate of papaya, and a basket of what seemed to be freshly baked rolls and biscuits. Our only complaint was the coffee, which was extremely weak. But Patzcuaro abounds in coffee shops,so finding a good latte, expresso,... More
