We ate dinner two nights at La Surtidora on our recent visit to Patzcuaro. OMG, our meals were so good, its one of those things where you think about it for so long afterwards, and it makes you hungry. Our first dinner we both had Tarasco soup and a shared plate of appetizers (flautas, sopes) both absolutely amazingly good, and... More

We decided to sit in this place, cos it looked great, but they have very short chairs. The service is terrible, and very slow The food wasn't nothing special or even good, the salad said it has salmon, and it only had a few and slight pieces of raw "salmon" A rib eye medium, and it was delivered well done

Food is quite good but fairly standard. Excels for service, including good English spoken and excellent recommendations. Wonderful location on the main square. Nice feel with walls covered in wine and coffee and other treats. Ate here twice in a three night stay

What a fun place to sit outside under the covered patio and watch the world go by. This place is as charming as Patzcuro itself. Just across from the main jardine, take in the beautiful trees, the tranquil park and the people enjoying their daily lives. Very nice menu with excellent service. We enjoyed the guacamole and salmon con queso,... More

Menu and service is decent without any fanfare, Located under the portals in the big place which is a hangout for many locals and tourists alike. Has one of the few nice place with outdoor seating.

This corner cafe has a great view of the plaza grande and is perfect for whiling away a couple of pleasant afternoon hours people-watching, there is also indoor seating and often live entertainment. The lattes are delicious served in a big white mug, cheaper and better than in a certain sidewalk cafe in the plaza chica. There's an independent pastry... More

We enjoyed several meals here during our short visit. Right on the square it is a great venue for people watching. The only downside is it also puts one on the path for numerous venders. Our meals were good, and the service was great. All in all a wonderful, tasty experience.

I always buy my coffee at Surtidora and I LOVE hanging out and listening to live music and people watching on the Plaza Grande. The fact that the food is very good, well presented and priced fairly makes it even better. Highly recommend!

Local and visiting Mexicans favor this charming restaurant. The breakfasts are tasty, and the dinner menu is equally satisfying. The hot chocolate is not to be missed - a great drink to start and end a day in beautiful Patzcuaro.

There is better food in Patzcuaro (Lupitas) but no better location and view. The service is friendly and eating outside is a great way to spend a first night/afternoon in Patzcuaro as you will see the whole city walk by on the Plaza. A must stop if only for coffee and dessert and the opportunity to experience the heart of... More
