Lovely lunch experience!

Great service, good food, good menu variety, calm surroundings both inside and out. Have been for lunch as part of a large group and a smaller table of four - everything was handled smoothly and professionally.

It was overall nice, but we all felt that the tapas were hugely overpriced. The service was good. I hope that since my last visit things improved and the menu has better selection. There is a great competition out there.

At the end of March I visited La Una, it was my cousins favorite restaurant in Ajijic. My cousin was ill but was with us and enjoyed her meal as much as we did. This was my second visit. My cousin was in a wheelchair and the staff and owner were wonderful. My cousin died today and I can truthfully... More

Fresh off the plane, settled in our room and hungry... This was a lucky find with an extensive menu and friendly staff! We had a special diet need to be gluten free and they were able to accommodate with no problem. The meal was perfectly prepared and quite beautifully presented. The steak was cooked to perfection, the tomato sauce was... More

We have had 4 wonderful experiences at La Una! The wait staff has been very kind and attentive and the owners are delightful. We have tried several establishments during our stay and keep returning to La Una. The chef is from Yucatan and his food is wonderful. We love the slower pace in Mexico and love the fact that we... Really!! I can't say enough about La Una. From New Mexico to the Yucatan, this restaurant has captured the true flavors of the different regions. My hat is off to the owners, congratulations on such an outstanding restaurant.

I have a rule of thumb... If I have a bad experience at a restaurant I always go back. Let's face it - everyone can have a bad day. So I did go back - for breakfast instead of supper. It was just as disappointing. The service was so slow and the food was just not very good. Third try... More

We had dinner the other night at La Una, and it was one of the best meals we have had in Ajijic. The service was lovely, the grounds were great, but it was the quality of the food which makes this place stand out. Try the Snapper....amazing!!!

The food here was fine. The service was fine too when we got it but it was really slow and I am not a rushed person
